In a sense yes,
Ghosts are negative feelings or emotions that a soul leaves behind. When you die what you think is what is going to happen to you. Yet, the soul knows all since the energy (soul) is created in the image and likeness of God, and since God is all loving and perfect, our soul returns to that existence thus leaving behind the negative energy in this world, somewhat like a finger print on how the person felt in their life while still here on earth, just the negative aspect. And eventually that energy will change.

Now a spirit is a soul that has completed its purpose on earth. But yet wishes to experience other things in the universe. See, when you become a spirit, your thoughts are the most powerful tool. When you imagine a person or loved one you automatically are with that person. And when you imagine a place your automatically there. There is no time lapse, for your spirit (soul) is energy, pure energy, and it is this energy that created all life. You can focus to be physical in the same body if you wish, yet once you become a spirit there is no need really to come back to earth, because you would understand the whole truth, Ultimate reality that we are never separated, thus, you explore more of this universe or if you wish come back in another form to experience the process of life again here, or in another world, it is at your choice, your free will.

Yet as a spirit you can be at two places or even more place at once. You are not limit like you are in the body. And you thoughts become your reality. Also once you are a spirit, if say any family member who is still on earth thinks of you, you automatically go to them and assure them that everything is ok. It could be by way of a favorite music, or a picture they didn't see in a while, or perfume, their scent.

These are signs that a loved one is telling you it is okay, because those pictures, music, scent will always bring happiness in your life because you had the opportunity to share that experience with them. They are signs to say I am always with you, even through thought I am with you always.
Amen.

I experienced this when my mother past away of lung cancer when I was 15. Even at times when I think of her, for some reason her song would play on the radio or a picture of her and my family that would either fall out a book she used to read, or the smell of roses which is her favorite when I go walk outside or while watching t.v., These raises my awareness that she is alright and that our love can never be separated, our process of ife just changes.

I have seen a ghost, or something that I would call a ghost. The trouble is; it looked like my cousin who was and is still alive.

I have a theory about them too.

They are not people in their past life living on Earth. They are either demonic spirits or angelic beings. I think that in all the cases where I either saw what people refer to as 'shadow people' or 'ghosts' it was a demonic spirit.

So I saw them. So yes, I believe them.

Yes. I'm a Christian, and I've had experiences with ghosts; although I couldn't tell you what they are. My guess would be that they are either vague glimpses into another dimension due to an inexplicable temporary overlap, or psychic energy that a person has left behind for some reason.

Absolutely not. But I do believe that the devil will use any tool he can to seduce people into other-than-godly hobbies, like chasing ghosts, and trying to commune with the dead, and practicing witchcraft, and the like.

What you call ghosts, I call demonic activity meant to tempt people's focus away from what scripture says on the matter.

No. I believe that spirits can come and talk to us to help us in life, but no, not ghosts.

I believe that we see spirits. whether these spirits are human or not, I don't know. I also believe that sometimes we see what they call residual hauntings. This is where the earth holds these glimpses of the past, and people of the past, so it looks like a ghost.

How can I put this?

Yes and No. Yes I believe in spirits, but not in the same sense that other people would classify a ghost as.

Hope that makes sense.

God Bless.

The Bible says for believers to be absent in body is to be present with the Lord. Look at the 2 theives crucified with the Lord - He told one of them that believed - TODAY you will be with Me in Paradise. The Bible does not speak of people not being able to "cross over" - so there are no such things as the dead from this earth wandering around. HOWEVER - I do believe that demons take on the forms of deceased people - just the devil's scheme to draw humanity away from the truth of the Lord Jesus Christ.
