i broke a molar about 3 years ago ,all there is left is a bit of tooth and a hole where the gum has started to grow over.It causes me no pain but stinks a bit ,should i have it filled or taken out? ide like to chew on it.............there is no nerve in it as i had the cavity drilled out!

Have it examined by your dentist. If the cavity is too large or too deep, it may be beyond repair and need to be pulled. If possible, and you can afford it, if it can be saved, do so. If your dentist says it can be saved, go to an endodontist and have a root canal and go back to your dentist to be fitted with a crown. Very simple procedure.

Have it out. If it's smelling it's more then likely an abscess & you don't want that busting in your mouth. If you can get Corsidle (Could be spelt wrong. It's a mouthwash) & use that & it should help with any infection. But you can't leave it. I know how ill those things can make you if they bust. :(

You should have it removed the bad smell is probably from decay. If it's left in, you could get a really bad infection that could end up in your blood stream.
