the Quran is a very good book and is just as important to its followers as the Bible is to its followers. so why do people think it is not the Word of GOD? because they are bigoted and believe that their religion is the only religion and that the Bible is the only true Book of God and they are wrong. we as a people need to open up our minds to all the other religions and beliefs in our world and start treating each other with respect then maybe we could put a stop to all these wars that we have and learn to live in peace.

this could take all day but its actually quite simple the quran is written as you said poetic and beautifully. Until you consider if this is God's revelation to manking then why isn't there and prophecies in the quran. If Allah is god then he would know the past, present, and future. The King James bible is 30 percent prophecy with over 30 scpriptures alone foretelling about the birth of jesus and about his resurrection. Did your god die for the sins of the world and at any time reveal himself to his prophets. Oh and by the way Allah by interpetation means moon. Why would you worship creation and not the creator. Jesus created all things even the moon which you so blindly worship. Acts 4:12 neither is there salvation in any other for there is none other name under heaven where we must be saved. Acts 2:38 repent every one of you and be baptized in the name of jesus for the remission of sins. St john 14:6 I am the way the truth and the life there is no access to the father but by me. St john 10:30 I and the father are one. 1 john 5:7 For there are three that bear record in heaven the father, the word, and the holy ghost and these three are one. St john 1:1 in the beginning was the word and the word was with god and the word was God. The word become flesh and dwelt among us. Jesus is the word of God. God manifested in the flesh. Believe on him whom he sent or ye will die in your sins. Only jesus can atone you of your sins.

Muhammad's not a prophet of God. All prophets of God actually spoke with God. Muhammad spoke with an angel. My opinion is that it was a fallen angel. The proof of that is how the quran twisted some things from the Holy Bible and the fact that allah is described as a deceiver, just like Satan. Throw in a little truth but add changes that make it totally different and you can trick people. allah's certainly not God. You cannot possibly think that God would allow people to falsely believe, for 600 years, that Jesus was crucified and then say all of a sudden, nope, I played a trick on you and led everyone astray. Think. Satan's at work.
God Bless.

It contradicts the teachings of Jesus and the apostles. That would be OK if the claim that the New Testament (and old Testament) was corrupt was true.
However, the promises of salvation in the New Testament have been verified in the lives of millions. You can investigate the lives of people who have been greatly changed through the gospel.
There are also warnings in the New Testament that sadly not every wonderful-seeming teaching is actually from God. That if an angel for instance (Galatians 1:9) delivers a message that contradicts Jesus identity as Saviour and atoning sacrifice for our sins, then it most certainly doesn't come from God.
The New Testament reveals a whole kingdom of rebel spirit beings, led by Satan. One of their activities is producing deceptive philosophies to prevent people investigating and trusting in Jesus the Anointed One (Christ).
---------
You are quite free to believe it is the word of God yourself of course. Many will agree with you, many won't, some aren't sure. I have good reasons for what I believe imo.

I fail to see what's so "beautiful" about it. I tried reading it, and the redundancy nearly put me to sleep. Nor do I buy the "scientific" arguments. Is the Bible more inconsistant when it comes to science? Probably, especially since it's much older and had more authors. But Koran didn't "predict" anything. That's all after-the-fact interpretations of poetry. Why, for example, would the numbers related to iron match up but not verses dealing with gold, silver, or other elements?

So the Quran says that the Ant has a leader?
Really? So who is the leader.
This reference alone proves the Quran scientifically flawed.
The link below may help in your beggining to understand ants, and the Quran's error.
(BTW, apperently the Bible's verse regarding ants is correct).
Nice try, play again soon.

You are grasping with the iron and didn't get many straws.
The ants had been observed for a few hundred more years and could be corrected. Just like science does. Though science still can't talk to them. Nice touch there.

"Jesus answered: 'Watch out that no one deceives you. For many will come in my name, claiming, "I am the Christ," and will deceive many.'" Matthew 24:4,5(NIV) Mark 13:5,6 and Luke 21:8 say the same thing in slightly different words; in other words the *genuine* Word of God, the Holy Bible, warns against other "gods" (such as Al-lah) and the prophets of these other "gods"!
There is more scientific and historical support for what is stated in the Bible than there is for any other book in the workd!

The Koran is not the Word of God. Unlike the Bible it has no evidence affirming it as the Word of God. It further contradicts the Word of God. See http://www.bcbsr.com/topics/islam.html

It's actually the Word of Gabriel, according to you guys.
Of course it doesn't agree 100%, otherwise Mohammed couldn't have started a new religion with it.
Is it a coincidence that "dumbass" on your phone's keypad is 386-2277 and that you've probably called that number before?
