For e.g a lot of users misused Islam to make themselves feel important. Constantly they blame Islam for inhumane acts such as wife beating, sucide bombing (i wonder why they don't discuss carpet bombing) and child molestation. They don't look into what's written in their own holy books. their research is only 2 clicks in the holy google and for that, they want a nobel prize. Hey! 1.5 billion people are muslims, every minute growing. have you thought about it today. who is behind this beauty. primitive answers to the main question above are not welcomed.

the arguments about earlier and later surahs in the quran bears no weight for Muslims. this is a favourite topic amongst people who want to prove themselves better as Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and God. Quran is not written by humans. Quran developed not in one or two semesters. it took 23 years for the revelations to be completed. How many changes have you yourself experienced biologically, psychologically and socially in 23 years?
on the subject of carpet bombing, people whose fridges are full, brains are empty and genitals itch, can joke about everything. I can understand them. mass killing is the helplessness of a system irregardless of whatever means they use.
Blitzkrieg - it was the biggest mistake from Hitler. Und der Blitz ist jetzt Donner . Germans are still paying for it everyday.
For this unqualified and cheap comedy about very serious things, i can understand the aesthetic of boredom.

Carpet bombing isn't employed any longer, at least not by the U.S. That's not the technology nor the tactic used now. And your argument still doesn't seem to do much of a job of denouncing wife beating, suicide bombings, kidnappings, or beheadings; one needn't be a college-educated expert to acknowledge these things. In any case, Yahoo Answers is not nor ever has been a forum where only college professors and Nobel Prize winners can answer questions. If you don't like that, then don't use it. No one's making you.

You know what? I do not dismiss Islam and Muslims for the actions of some. I really dismiss the Quran based upon the writings of the Quran
The clincher for me is the Quran's built in rule of abrogation.
If you know the Quran, you will know what I am talking about. This is the Sura, in which the Quran excuses the earlier suras that contradict the later suras.
From an article titled The Quran-Harmonious with Itself?
“When We substitute one revelation for another [verse, sign, Rodwell]—and God knows best what He reveals (in stages),—they say, ‘Thou art but a forger’: But most of them understand not.” (An explanatory footnote in Rodwell’s version states: “The Muslims admit that there are 225 verses cancelled by later ones.”) And again: “None of Our revelations do We abrogate or cause to be forgotten, but We substitute something better or similar: Knowest thou not that God hath power over all things?”—Sura 2:106; 16:101, Ali.
I really can not come to grips with a book that is a revelation from an almighty God, that had to correct his mistakes in transferring his rules and regulations to humans.
I hope that I have presented an answer which satisfies your demand for one it be form someone who has 'qualified knowledge'.

You seriously want to discuss carpet bombing?
Have you ever heard of the Blitzkrieg?
I believe the words: Liar, Charloton or Prophet fit the main question best.

The problem is that the term "qualified" varies as much as the perceptions of the person wielding that word.
