Instead, we should recognize private property over all land and let property owners decide if people will be permitted to pass through their property. That is the only solution to the immigration problem that doesn't require violence.

Actually, what we should do is vote. And vote for which ever party/politician we feel represents our views on immigration the best.

WE live in society where people have different and varied views. As the society we live in (well most of us live in) is a democracy, the decision on open or closed borders should be left to our elected representatives.

(And I do not think that your idea is a good one.)

Let's say that you own property and decide that others cannot cross over it without your permission.
One day, you see someone crossing your property. How will you stop them?

Let's suppose you see 10 people crossing your property? How will you stop them?
