I am not suppose to express my own opinions on YA. But thanks for trying. Perhaps if you share yours with me, I can then agree or disagree.

OK - The problem with polls is they are not specific. Yes this many people feel it needs reformed. Reformed in favor of who? and Kinds of reforms they are wanting. Leaving that kind of info out doesn't say much. How about asking, and reporting on what kinds of reform ideas people would be willing to accept or not accept. List them all. That's what I want to see. So I can then agree or change any to an idea I would be satisfied with.

I hate general polls that say nothing.

Yes, i agree with that poll. The USA is in serious need to do something about its immigration problem. So many people are moving in and we need a solution. I personally think that reforms are needed, but thats my opinion.

I think it is meaningless. Given that 76% of Republicans wanted major reform, I think they meant more enforcement, and the7 % that said no reform probably meant 'just enforce our laws'.

On the other hand, Republicans who want endless cheap labor indentured to business would also say 'major reform'.

The point is that they don't define the terms.

A big part of US citizens do believe that we need a major overhaul, the problem is we can't agree on what that overhaul should consist of. The bottom line is, that we do agree that we have a problem.

Most people already know that the immigration system is in need of repair; it has been for probably 15 years or more.

I believe that most Americans want the laws we have to be enforced and we'd be fine. We're just sick to death of being hounded by illegals. Time is now for them to go!
