how likely is that going to happen? not a huge chance. i believe we should all look for a different solution cuz that isn't going to happen no matter how much people want it to happen.

You're right, mass deportation is not going to happen. We can however, make it impossible for illegals to live here and cut down on the perks of coming here. That could eventually lead to self deportation.

they say that, and I LAUGH all the time. How dumb do you have to be to even consider that. I've said it all the time. IT'S A FACT THAT 12 MILLION ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS will not be deported. How come those anti-illegals don't understand that? do they lack a brain? Are they mad? what's up? i don't know. It's plain silly.

And I agree with you. What else can they government do about the illegals already here, make them legal, that's all.

No one needs to be deported. We need to jail those who provide jobs for illegals. Take their businesses away from them. Confiscate their farms. Deny all illegal people any government benefits. The illegals will leave on their own. Offer them guns at the border so they can over throw their corrupt government and improve their own country.

Mass deportation is not necessary, one at a time is fine with me, as long as they go! We neither need or want the illegals in our country. Landscaping is a big deal where I live and you should see the white and black guys go! They make great money and they love working outdoors. In the winter, they do snow removal! Illegals don't have a great foothold in my area nor will they!

No one seriously thinks mass deportation will ever happen.

We do need to get some solutions being presented from Mexico City, though. The problem of immigration along the US southern border is as much their problem as it is ours.

Perhaps if Mexico City would start improving conditions in the northern region of their country they wouldn't have so many people trying to leave to escape such an awful situation.

There will be no mass deportation. We couldnt round up that many if we wanted to. However I hope and pray the day will come when our borders are secure enough that we will secure the borders and then when we do catch and deport 5% of the millions over here atleast they wont come right back...

There has to be a common ground. The fact is that too much of the economy depends on immigrant labor. Those sectors would veritably collapse, areas like agriculture(especially fruit and vegetables), and construction/landscaping. Prices in these areas would skyrocket. The US needs immigrant labor. But the US needs secure borders too. Once a wall is built and adequately patrolled we can seal the border. Once that is accomplished and the tide of illegal immigration is stopped, then real substantive guest visas, and work visa programs can be made to accomodate people and businesses that depend on the labor. But I really don't think any kind of a mass deportation or criminalization is realistic.

Yes I believe that illegal immigrants should be deported when caught.

I also believe we should tighten control over our borders, enforce our labor laws, cut off such open access to education/medical care/other taxpayer supported infrastructured services, we should penalize and fine employers who hire them, and take all reasonable stapes to enforce our immigration laws.

Doing these things will go a long way to stop this invasion that is going to bankrupt is and create a 3rd world country status.
