20 Easy Tips to Help You Lose Weight

1. Include two fruits or vegetables in every meal or snack. You'll feel fuller and cut back on calories from other foods.
2. Eat breakfast. You'll be less likely to overeat later in the day.
3. Snack every 4 hours (try oranges, apples, pretzels, string cheese).
4. Eat at regular intervals.
5. Know your portions: 1/2 cup of rice is the size of your fist, an ounce of cheese is a large marble; a 3-ounce serving of meat is a deck of cards. Divide your plate: 3/4 with vegetables, grains, beans and fruit; 1/4 with extra-lean meat or low-fat dairy products.
6. Make room for cravings. Have a cookie now and then; just drop something else that day.
7. Drink water -- a glass every one to two hours will keep you full.
8. Eat slowly.
9. Cut 100 calories a day (replace that candy bar with an orange and banana) and lose a pound a month.

gaining muscle is not so easy. you have to use progressively higher and higher weights AND most importantly there must be a caloric excess in the diet. resistance training only provides the necessary stimulus to the muscles and to the central nervous system the diet determines the size of the body. it takes most women years of hardcore training and dieting to see an extreme increase in muscle mass. the natural testosterone production of a woman is roughly 1/10 that of a man. I've never seen any women or man for that matter get "big" by accident.

I will try to keep it simple. Your metabolism is basically the rate at which your body burns calories to create energy. So the faster your metabolism, the faster you burn calories and the easier it is to lose unwanted weight. To boost your metabolism naturally you just need to eat the right foods.

You can sit down and literally eat a 1,000-calorie dinner and yet be absolutely starving just a few hours later and the reason is simple: Because your body didnt get what it needed in those 1,000 calories so it sends signals to your brain telling you to ingest more calories and thus, the late-night cravings. That means that the surest way to end those late-night cravings and keep your weight loss goals on track is to eat a more balanced, nutritious diet that actually gives your body what it needs.

It's VERY EASY to lose weight if you eat the right foods. Check out Dr. Charles Livingston's video here: http://www.sexyjese.com - it will blow your mind.

You're not going to get bulky from exercising. If you're lifting weight, like men do, then probably. I started the Turbo Jam workouts about a month ago. They're truly amazing! You need to get your body moving and do some cardio to burn calories and lose weight. I don't believe in the "miracle" diets or patches. Eat healthy and exercise. I've already lost several inches from my hips, thighs, and stomach. Give it a try! Good luck!

if you are a girl, which i am assuming you are, then you wont gain any noticeable muscle even if you work out a whole year. If you are a guy, then you are crazy.
