I used to live in Brooklyn as a little kid, and my parents don't know which neighborhood we lived in. I lived in the section of Ocean Avenue that is close to Avenue N - if you know which neighborhood that's considered, please solve this life-long mystery.

On Ocean Avenue, Avenue K is Flatbush. Avenue X is split between Sheepshead Bay and Gravesend. Midwood is close to Avenue N, yet I'm leaning toward Flatbush.

I lived on Ocean and J I'd say Flatlands
Wikipedia indicates its Midwood as they say it ends on Ave P.
Just because this fascinated me, I check yet another sourch and they indicate this is in an area called Madison.
I lived in Brooklyn for many, many years and never heard of anything but a High school by that name.
Maybe thats it.
