Wondering if anyone can suggest anything? My brother just came from Belarus (area suffered from Chernobyl disaster). He is a very talented hockey player. Unfortunately playing hockey at his level here, in the US, costs a lot. Does anyone has any idea what organization to contact to ask for help ? He is 13 now

I would contact the sports shops that sell the equipment you use, and if there is a professional hockey team in your area, contact them. The ice rink where he practices might have some good ideas, so ask the manager or owner (don't bother the employees, they probably don't know). Publish a request for a sponsor in the local newspaper, or at least contact the sports page editor. Sometimes a personal contact is better than e-mail or letter.
