You know, something like "Thou shalt not covet _________ wife", just in case you have ugly neighbors.

Stuff like that! Where else could fill-ins help make the Bible EVEN BETTER?

I take it you believe in the latest translation literally. The bible also says the sun revolves around the earth. It was written so the people of that time could believe and there are parables and visions throughout. Now the laws, 10 commandments, kinda cut and dry. I'd say even if you were NOT a Christian which I am, living by the 10 commandments would be a very moral and right way to live. But, 7 days to God (He is pure energy, correct?) may be like millions of years to us. We call the Einsteins theory of relativity today. Would the people have understood that back then? Or would they have understood Genesis as it was written?

In a word...no! Although, as other people have already said, alot of people do have their own little personal interpretation. That's why you gotta find out how a scripture has been interpreted since the beggining of Christendom.

No...

Immature and insecure people poke fun at others' beliefs. It only makes you look foolish to goad and bait others.
What is it about yourself that you dislike? There must be something, or you wouldn't ask these childish "questions".

Have a nice evening. Learn to love yourself so that you won't think you have to get friends by attacking others.

This is nothing new. People have been taking the verses that they find convenient for them and discarding the ones that don't fit their lifestyle.

They already do that by just omitting the parts they don't like. It does not make it better; just their faith full of holes.
