I'm a former Protestant (I'm now Eastern Orthodox), and all the protestant churches I was ever in did proclaim the death of the Lord...but maybe not as much as the Catholics do. Catholics focus alot on the Sorrowful Passion.

Not necessarily,
you must first define Catholics and Protestants
There are hundreds of Protestant denominations and an equal number of Catholic persuasions and orders (most Roman Catholic Parishoners do not even believe the tenents of their own church)
Therefore your question is not actually answerable in any specific way. In General Catholics focus more on extra-biblical sources for their dogma, while Protestants generally adhere more to the Bible itself for their dogma.

All Christians focus on the Crucifixion. It is through the Crucifixion, and subsequent Resurrection, that Christ redeemed us.
All Christians focus on Jesus' teachings too.
Christianity is not based on a "ranking system." We do not rank some aspects of Christianity as being "more" or "less" important or noteworthy than the others.
Besides, the idea that Christ would be crucified and would rise again IS one of His teachings. Before it happened, He taught His disciples about it repeatedly.

No, not true. Catholic spend as much time studying and celebrating Jesus' teachings as Protestants.
Perhaps we pay a bit more attention to the Crucifixion than protestants do, but that's to keep us humble and remember that He died for us.

Neither is true. Protestants Evangelicals focus more on who believes Jesus is the son of God then on his teachings and if you don't believe you are damned to hell by them. Catholics are the original Christians and they have been committing atrocities on society for about 1100 years.

Protestants concentrate on all the things of Jesus, His teaching and His Crucifixion. To be a believer one must believe that Jesus rose from the dead and this comes from the teaching.

I've never really made a distinction. But I do meditate on the Crucifixion often.

I'm not sure that is true, but I do know that Catholics are more into man made traditions, rites, and rituals.

It's a matter of opinion and debate. They should really be more focused on abhorring sin (see below).
