Some breeds have been known to live up to 20 years, other breeds are doing well if they get past their 8th year.

With a crossbred dog it's impossible to predict very much at all, although if she's reached 13 years of age, you must be doing something right!

The whole human years vs dog years thing is a myth. Some people claim that there's seven dog years to every human year, but dogs age at such different rates to humans that it's a pretty meaningless comparison.

Just enjoy your dog (as I'm sure you do) for as long as she's with you.

Good luck.

To find your dog's age multiply the doggy years by seven and there you have it. In other words, your dog is getting on to say the least. HOw long dogs live depends quite a lot on their size. Generally, the bigger the dog the shorter it's lifespan. Cross breeds often do better than pedigrees, but not necessarily. It can depend quite a lot on how the dog is fed and how much exercise it's given. 13 is a good age.

No one can tell you that.. Mixed breed dogs are dogs made up of different breeds.. It would only be a guess. Plus no one knows how well you have taken care of your dog, do you take it to the vet when you need to, do you feed good food etc?!? You just have to do like everyone else does and wait til that day finally comes. Don't think about when your dog is going to die, spend your time w/ your dog so you will have good memories when he finally does die.

The conversion is 7 years for the first two years then 4 years thereafter. A 13 year old dog would be equivalent to a 65 year old human.

In my rejoice with, the puppy breeds that are the least extra possibly to boost human aggression issues are the Pug, Beagle, English Bulldog, and Boston Terrier. I even have not particularly obvious an occasion of any of those breeds that i'd desire to declare had a significant aggression problem, despite the fact that I even have met particularly dissimilar frightened Beagles. nicely-bred Labrador Retrievers, Golden Retrievers, Pit Bulls, and Greyhounds would desire to be ideal up there as sturdy. on the different hand are the breeds that are literally to be aggressive. I even have under no situations had a suitable rejoice with with a Yorkie. quite, of the 50 or so Yorkies that I even have encountered, i'd desire to declare all 50 had some sort of aggression problem. Chow Chows, Akitas, and Chihuahuas are ideal up there as sturdy. yet, i'd desire to declare that possibly the suitable puppy breeds are the particularly a sort breeds of Terrier from Scotland, the Scottish Terrier, West Highland White Terrier, Cairn Terrier, Dandie Dinmont Terrier, and Skye Terrier. Scotties and Westies specifically are very bitey puppies.

generalisations are that cross breeds live longer than pedigrees and smaller dogs live longer than large dogs, but there is no definite answer to this question.
13 is an old dog but i have had dogs live to over 20. i have also had some go really quite young.
just enjoy the time you have with your dog.

I would have to know the size of your dog, if you have a large breed, the expected age is 10. If you have a smaller dog the expected age is 17. Your dog would be about 91 in dog years!

Depends on the dog - the larger the dog, the shorter the lifespan. Our 20 pound Miniature Schnauzer is 13, and I wouldn't be surprised if she has another 3-4 years in her.

cross breed dogs usually live longer than pure breeds. i would guess between 12-16 years on average, but obviously depends on how healthy your dog is.
there are 7 dog years to one human year.
