Lemon Dill Sauce:
1 cup mayonnaise
1/4 cup buttermilk
2 tablespoons chopped fresh dill leaves
1 tablespoon chopped fresh parsley leaves
1 tablespoon grated lemon zest
2 teaspoons fresh lemon juice
1 garlic clove, minced
To make the sauce, combine all of the ingredients in a bowl and stir well. Refrigerate until chilled. The sauce will thicken as it chills.
Not the most original combination of flavors, but you can't go wrong with comfort food! I got this recipe from Paula Deen.. it's an easy sauce that doesn't require a major undertaking and the ingredients are easily attainable.

To be completely honest, you should just use a little lemon juice. The actual crab taste can be overpowered by anything else you use. If you must have a dipping sauce then mix a little lemon juice, sour cream and Dijon mustard together.

I know you received a lot of answers and some of them are really good. Remember that brabmeat is a very delicate flavor and you do not want to over power it. Simple is best. Tarter sauce or mayo and lemon or lime juice. I also make tuna cakes and salmon cakes, both cheaper but still very good.

puree mango slices (about 1 & 1/2 to 2 mangos), 1 small scallion, and some cilantro as per your taste
this is a "smoothie" version of mango salsa if you are looking to dip instead of top
