If your cat(s) is an indoor cat and you have have em for awhile they shouldn't have fleas--BUT if they do I have found that Advantage worked fine for my guys. If your cat(s) is an outdoor cat -which he/she should NOT be Advantage or Frontline should be fine AND safe when used properly.

I have never used a flea collar and never will. 1) they don't work well and more importantly 2) can possibly cause health
problems and in some cases when combined with flea
baths can and have been the cause of death.

No cats are not suppossed to wear flea collars, period.

Advantage, Frontline and Revolution are all a LOT more reliable than flea collars. I wouldn't waste my money on the flea collars.

No, cats aren't "supposed" to wear flea collars. Would you want to wear a rag soaked in pesticide around your neck?

Try Advantage, or a similar product. It works better.

My cats don't wear flea collars because they have been shown to cause health problems like stroke. I only use the frontline or advantage and then only from march to october.

no. If your cats don't go outside you should not have a problem. If you also have a dog that "does" go out then you should go to your vet & get your cats injected with the Program Advantage. It really works. I have 2 long haired cats & they have never had a flea despite travelling to cottages where there have been other animals.

No! Flea collars don't even work that well. Use ointment, not drops, if you're trying to repell those nasty fleas from the brand Advantage. It always works!
