I thought Jesus wasn't supposed to be "God" until he went through death and "resurrection", so there was wiggle room to perfect himself. The bible *says* G-d is perfect. The question is what is perfection, because it's obvious the G-d in the bible has many flaws, sanctioning the deaths of innocents, rape, slavery and etc.

It's a mystery as to how exactly Jesus Christ was both fully God and fully human at the same time.
We know when He was a newborn He had the brain of a newborn and it is traditionally taught He was not "self aware" of His divinity at that point.
When Jesus Christ assumed human form He fully submitted to the biological realities of humanity. That means that He gradually "grew" in wisdom as He fully accepted His divinity.
Always God, always perfert, but as a child....not fully aware.
Does that make sense? It's really an amazing thing..the Incarnation! God is wondrous!

Christians and the Bible are right. Your premise is wrong. There were times in Jesus' earthly ministry when He was fully God, and there were times when he was fully man. He got tired, hungry and felt pain. He also raised the dead, (including Himself), and transfigured Himself on a mountain, talking with Moses and Elijah, proving His eternality. Suppressing one or the other did not lessen either.

When Christ became man- He learned obedience as a child does= even though He was still divine. If you read Philippians 2 it says "He laid aside He divinity and became obedient unto death, even the death on a cross". That does not mean He still was not divine, but He chose to lay it aside so that He could humble Himself. He went to temple to learn like every good Hebrew man- however as He was "learning" He was able to teach as well. God is perfect- no question about that- are His Son would not have had to die for us.

The verse that you are quoting, speaks of Jesus when he was a human being, dwelling amongst us.
God IS perfect. Read the Bible and you'll see that what it says it true.

Both are right. God IS perfect, and he is 3-in-1: Father, Spirit, Son. Jesus had always existed, but when he came to earth he willingly took on our human limitations. He had to learn to crawl, to walk, to run. He experienced what it's like to be human so that he could relate to us and be more personal to us. :)

no God is perfect
he can never change he is omnipotent and omniscient
he is everlasting and you're taking the Bible passages out of context you need to study the bible with your spiritual eyes not your phyiscal eyes so that God can speak to your heart so you understand what has been written down
