The last time? Who said it ever stopped? I am still committed to the beliefs I established for myself years ago. Mind you, I have never stopped being open to a change of mind either. I say all the time that all it will take for me to embrace the beliefs of those who are dedicated to the concept of a Mysterious Invisible Superbeing, is for somebody to "bring me the goods" Show me your clear, unequivocal, unarguable, indisputable, incontrovertible, unquestionable proof, and if it passes the smell test, sign me up. Hasn't happened yet, but ya never know. I look up into the sky sometimes scanning the blue to see if I can pick out a flying pig among the birds.

What I say I believe or what I really believe? I think almost all people are committed to what they really believe deep down inside. But practice what they preach? Well, that's a different story. Talk is cheap you know.
I'm trying every day to be more honest about what I say I beleive. It's a lot of work because there is pressure in groups to conform, and say you believe things when you really don't. Lots of people say they believe things for image, because they want to appear a certain way to themselves or other people. This temptation can be very powerful sometimes.

I was commited for my belief that polygamy should not be left in the past as "that prophets personal opinion" but uncovered. I was sentenced to 8 long weeks of Gospel Principals class, and daily interogation in what should be "comforts" of my own home.

I'm not sure the means by which you define "truly committed", but I would like to think that I am today.

[many have thought I should be committed at one time or another :)]
Seriously though, just a few hours ago.
Peace be with you :)

I am so committed right now that if someone asked me to recant in exchange for sparing my life, money or power, I wouldn't do it.
