Sorry, but solid proof leaves no room for faith and freewill. But if you believe that the universe at all (Jupiter protecting Earth because of its grav pull, lightning creating the field that protects us against harmful rays of sun, etc etc etc) ; then, I'm sorry but you'll never get it. And it requires a certain amount of Faith.

Do a little research into a thing called 'the omega point theory'.
I did, didn't understand any of it, but apparently it's scientific proof that there is (or was, or even will be) some sort of creator, if not a God.
I still don't go with Christianity on it, though. I'd rather not know something that doesn't concern me. I don't care if there is a God or not. All I care about is caring for every single member of my species, regardless of religion. I follow my path, whether I am correct or not.

New Scientist magazine said: “The lay view persists—of scientists having ‘disproved’ religion. It is a view that commonly expects scientists to be nonbelievers; that Darwin put the last nails in God’s coffin; and that a succession of scientific and technological innovations since have ruled out the possibility of any resurrection. It is a view that is wildly wrong.”—May 26, 1977, p. 478.
A member of the French Academy of Sciences stated: “Natural order was not invented by the human mind or set up by certain perceptive powers. . . . The existence of order presupposes the existence of organizing intelligence. Such intelligence can be none other than God’s.”—Dieu existe? Oui (Paris, 1979), Christian Chabanis, quoting Pierre-Paul Grassé, p. 94.
Scientists have identified over 100 chemical elements. Their atomic structure displays an intricate mathematical interrelationship of the elements. The periodic table points to obvious design. Such amazing design could not possibly be accidental, a product of chance.
Illustration: When we see a camera, a radio, or a computer, we readily acknowledge that it must have been produced by an intelligent designer. Would it be reasonable, then, to say that far more complex things—the eye, the ear, and the human brain—did not originate with an intelligent Designer?

What is "solid proof".
Do you mean evidence or empirical evidence?
Yes, it is relatively easy to prove there is a God.
The scientific method is used to determine physical properties about things and processes. Sometimes science cannot determine specific facts and then probabilities are determined. For example, behavioral science determines probabilities about behavior.
Courts of Law are used to determine facts about beings such as people or animals. For example, did a dog bite a person? If people cannot agree then the matter is taken to court and testimony is heard so the judge can reach a decision.
Most morons can't separate out the difference between facts as presented in a court of law and facts as determined by the scientific method. In fact a lot of people don't know what a fact is.
Gravity and evolution are theories. The speed of light is a fact. That things fall down when we drop them is a fact. Why they fall is a theory.
Now, if a person falls they have to go to court and prove they fell even though it seems pretty obvious to most of us that people fall. Once the fact of the fall is determined the next step is who was responsible for the fall and the court will determine that fact. Then the court determines facts about any damage that was done and finally the court determines facts concerning compensation.
All facts are subject to reproducibility. Facts determined in court are reproduced by appellate courts up to the Supreme Court. Facts determined by the scientific method are delivered with specific instructions on how to exactly reproduce the results.
The proper venue for determining facts about the existence of a person, or being, is a Court of Law which can make determine facts without having empirical evidence, or even a body. Murder cases are tried without bodies quite often. People are convicted or released based on circumstantial evidence. Often facts are determined based solely on eye witness testimony, considered the least reliable evidence available.
So the question of the Fact of the existence of God is easily determined, however, in Courts of law there is almost always a dissenting opinion delivered with the decision of an appellate court. Often the dissenting opinion is considered very important, sometimes more important than the majority decision.
FYI: I am an engineer. I am not a law professor at UofC Davis. If you don't like what I have written, and I get more hate mail from losers after explaining these FACTS than anything else on Yahoo Answers, please direct it to me and no one else.

Here are the Quinquae viae.
The argument of the unmoved mover (ex motu).
Some things are moved.
Everything that is moved is moved by a mover.
An infinite regress of movers is impossible.
Therefore, there is an unmoved mover from whom all motion proceeds.
This mover is what we call God.
The argument of the first cause (ex causa).
Some things are caused.
Everything that is caused is caused by something else.
An infinite regress of causation is impossible.
Therefore, there must be an uncaused cause of all caused things.
This causer is what we call God.
The argument of contingency (ex contingentia).
Many things in the universe may either exist or not exist. Such things are called contingent beings.
It is impossible for everything in the universe to be contingent, as nothing can come of nothing, and if traced back eventually there must have been one thing from which all others have occurred.
Therefore, there must be a necessary being whose existence is not contingent on any other being(s).
This being is what we call God.
The argument of degree (ex gradu).
Various perfections may be found in varying degrees throughout the universe.
These degrees of perfections assume the existence of the perfections themselves.
The argument of "design" (ex fine).
All natural bodies in the world act for ends.
These objects are in themselves unintelligent.
To act for ends is characteristic of intelligence.
Therefore, there exists an intelligent being which guides all natural bodies to their ends.
This being we call God.

Well religious people always hide behind the argument that if you need God to prove he exists, then you do not have true faith. This ignores the fact that in the past God has happily appeared as a burning bush, spoken to prophets, worked miracles, sent plagues and knocked down whole city walls.
So, if he could do it then, how come he can't do it now? It's not like the Isralites aren't still fighting wars in the Holy Land.

It works like this:
We are in the age of faith.
As such, it is those who search out God that find God, and not those who ask without searching:
Acts 17:24 God that made the world and all things therein, seeing that he is Lord of heaven and earth, dwelleth not in temples made with hands;
25 Neither is worshipped with men's hands, as though he needed any thing, seeing he giveth to all life, and breath, and all things;
26 And hath made of one blood all nations of men for to dwell on all the face of the earth, and hath determined the times before appointed, and the bounds of their habitation;
27 That they should seek the Lord, if haply they might feel after him, and find him, though he be not far from every one of us:
28 For in him we live, and move, and have our being; as certain also of your own poets have said, For we are also his offspring.
29 Forasmuch then as we are the offspring of God, we ought not to think that the Godhead is like unto gold, or silver, or stone, graven by art and man's device.
30 And the times of this ignorance God winked at; but now commandeth all men every where to repent:
31 Because he hath appointed a day, in the which he will judge the world in righteousness by that man whom he hath ordained; whereof he hath given assurance unto all men, in that he hath raised him from the dead.

No need to prove-
God will reveal Himself to you- in His time-
Christians are not put on this earth to Prove- Convince- Convert anyone- our job is simply to SHARE the Gospel & Show the love of Christ within our lives- So all may learn of his love- What non believers do with the info- is on them- You have the free will to believe or not-
P.S. Knock away- because that is exactly what Satan would have you do-- (That IS his character)

Yea sure I'll send you a photo.. Silly question.. Our belief in God is based on Faith and the life of Jesus or do you think Jesus is make believe. Well if you do then thats your choice. Jesus made that quiet clear to us that we have that choice to make.. The old testement spoke of the comming of the messisiah for generations and people believed that right up to the time of John the baptist who lived in the dessert and told the people of the comming of the Christ. Those same people who believed that refused to accept that Jesus was the one. Thats why they crucified him which Jesus foretold..

There is no proof because you are right , there is no god. If there was proof, we wouldn't have all these arguments, or at least, not nearly as many!
I only have proof that there is the Earth, and I believe in that!
