16 THINGS it took a long time to learn !!!?

Question

1. Never, under any circumstances, take a sleeping pill and a laxative the same night.

2. If you had to identify, in one word, the reason why the human race has not achieved, and never will achieve, its full potential, that word would be “meetings.”

3. There is a very fine line between “hobby” and “mental illness.”

4. People who want to share their religious views with you almost never want you to share yours with them.

6. Nobody cares if you can’t dance well. Just get up and dance. (This one is very important.)

7. Never lick a steak knife.

8. The most destructive force in the universe is gossip.

9. You will never find anybody who can give you a clear and compelling reason why we observe daylight savings time.

10. You should never say anything to a woman that even remotely suggests that you think she’s pregnant unless you can see an actual baby emerging from her at that moment.

11. There comes a time when you should stop expecting other people to make a big deal about your birthday. That time is age 11.

12. The one thing that unites all human beings, regardless of age, gender, religion, economic status or ethnic background, is that, deep inside, we ALL believe that we are above average drivers.

13. A person, who is nice to you, but rude to a waiter, is not a nice person. (This is very important. Pay attention. It never fails.)

14. Your friends love you anyway.

15. Never be afraid to try something new. Remember that a lone amateur built the Ark. A large group of professionals built the Titanic.

16. Thought for the day: Men are like fine wine. They start out as grapes; and it’s up to the women to stomp the crap out of them until they turn into something acceptable to have dinner with.

There is a very fine line between "hobby" and "mental illness" is absolutely and PROVEN to be genius!-If you made all these up yourself, you should seriously consider publishing "anything" that comes from your head. i.e.-(seriously!) My girlfriend kept track of certain events in her life and it comprised of 4 journals!-Myself, being her best friend had told her she certainly has a gift, and should contact "any" publisher and see if they are interested in the topic of her journals. Well......the topics they are interested in is almost too much to list and fit on this forum!-From children's stories, to magazine articles, to spiritual stuff-to actual "poetry" (still highly being bought) and of course the usual, love stories-to "Agony Aunts" slots in weekly magazines. MY point is, as I say, if you made this yourself, you seriously should (if you don't already do) check into getting your intellectual, witty and clever mind in touch with a publisher. YOU would be VERY surprised with what is in demand, and what you just kicked out, it put's 99% of it to shame, and those people make GOOD livings writing that 99% of the other. Bronzer is used to make your face look smaller (thats called contouring) or to give yourself a little bit of a glow/tan if you are pale. Primer there is two kinds or primer face primer and eyeshadow primer. Both are used as a base for the rest of your makeup and keep the color vibrant creaseless and oil-free. Foundation and Cover Up I think are the samething. Eyeshadow you can apply with your fingers or with brushes. You really only need one eyeshadow brush (for blending color into the crease) the rest you can just do with your fingers. I don't really know how long it took me to apply makeup and learn everything. Heck I'm still learning. I just learned by practicing and watching youtube videos.:)

Rude to waiters huh...

I went out on a dinner date with a guy who turned out to be a completely arrogant tw*t. He took me to a really posh restaurant and was ordering the waiters about and barking orders like he was going to the electric chair tomorrow!

He was awful and after I had eaten my scran I decided that there was absolutely no way I would ever see this guy again.

I picked up my plate, looked round to catch as many eyes as possible and licked my plate from top to bottom...all over, with loud, slurpy noises.

He was MORTIFIED. I asked him for a napkin to wipe the gravy off my face and he handed me one with his mouth wide open...never said a word.

I said I was going to fix my make up, looked round at everyone who had seen what had happened, winked at a few and walked straight out the door.

There were so many people applauding me with their eyes I can't begin to tell you!

A very memorable dinner for me!
