No yogurt is not bad for dogs at all. It is actually good for them. If you get a good yogurt with live active cultures like Stoneyfield Farm, it adds some very benefitial probiotics to the dogs digestive system.
It is particually good for dogs that have been ill, are thin or are older.

No but not too much. Most dogs are lactose intolerant. However the pro-biotic contain in the yogurt is good for dogs intestinal flora. If your dog likes it it is fine but don't force it to eat yogurt. Dogs like ice cream too but never chocolate flavor. Chocolates are very toxic to dogs.

I sure hope not.. I have been yogurt to dogs for over 20 years.. Never had a problem, didn't make anyone sick, in fact it is very good to help build good bacteria in their gut.

No. In fact it's good for them in moderation. It has "good bacteria" and feeding yogurt to a dog that is on antibiotic regimen helps replenish the "good bacteria" that the anti-biotics destroy along with the bad.
I used to give it to my German Shepherd dog three or four times a week. She loved those little yoplait cups and would hold them between her big paws and lick them clean. One of her favorite flavors was the Key Lime Pie.

No, but it tends to give dogs gas and plain yogurt is better on their stomachs than flavored ones.

When I took my dog to the vet they suggested I give my pup yogurt. He loves it and he has not gotten sick.

A small amount of non fat plain yogurt won't hurt them (no sugar!). They don't do well with large amounts of dairy.
