During recent floods in residential areas in the UK, bowsers (tanks of clean water) have been placed on street corners so residents could drink, wash etc. It has been reported that some person/people may have contaminated at least one water tank with noxious substances.

Can anyone explain this behaviour? What should happen to people who deliberately do such things?

Lock them up and make those tanks of water their only supply.

Unfortunately no one can explain the sad irresponsible behaviour of some of the 'dregs' of society that we have to live amongst.

As for what should happen to them, a spell in jail with contaminated water would be a good idea although with today's Court system they will probably get a community punishment order if we're lucky.

They should declare martial law in the flood hit towns, and anyone tampering with the water supplies should be shot by the army.

There really are some hopeless scumbags about.

Nothing will happen to them in this back ward country. Their lawyer will claim that to stop them will breach their human rights. Then they can sue the local council for putting them under undue stress
