what do you think? to me being rich means u could quit your job right now and live off of your savings and money for the rest of your life

That would be "comfortable" to me. I'm in that situation right now but I'd hardly consider myself "rich" though I am comfortable.

To me, being "rich" would mean not having any financial concerns at all. Being able to swan off on a world cruise or buy anything on a whim without worrying about the financial consequences.

A rich person has assets, not necessarily income. I'd say assets worth $2 million is rich for an individual, $3 million for a married couple without children to pay for, assuming no unusual expenses or obligations.
