According to Job in the Bible Dinosaurs where real so why would the Devil need to plant any fossils? There are no other animals on earth that match the description Job gave to describe the "dinosaur" (Which Dinosaurs was not a word until the 1800's.).

I think they were real animals, but they lived on a different part of the earth than people.

Then somehow they died out.

They aren't millions of years old, the problem is that the research people don't believe in the flood with noah, if they did then they would realize that that great flood split up the earth and broke up the land and all that water for all the time it was on earth, washed away the carbon that is needed to test for dates.

So it looks like the dinosaurs or anything is really old, but really it isn't, there just isn't enough carbon there, because of the flood.

It's just that people who want to use them in an attempt to discredit the bible (and no, I didn't say that's their only motive or the motive of everyone who believes they're millions of years old) base their dating of the fossils on unprovable uniformitarian assumptions.
