Go with yoppo's answers:

Green: glas (pronounced gloss)
Orange: flannbhuí (flan-vee)

The answers in the first post are spelled wrong. It's not the fault of the answerer; her link has them wrong. (The link does say "Some of the accented characters are systematically wrong.") Irish does not use the grave accent (as in "bhuì") AT ALL, so every word with that accent is wrong.

It is also possible to say oráistí for orange and uaine for a bright green.

Glas (pronounced gloss) is the most common word in Irish for "green." However, uaine (pronounce wen-yuh) is also used for green. Its original meaning was a vivid green or kelly green.

Glas is related to ancient Gallic (spoken in France) glasto- meaning "blue-green" and to Ancient Greek glaukos meaning "gray." Glaukos was also the name of an Ancient Greek sea god.

Orange (as a color) in modern Irish Gaelic is flannbhuí. (pronounced flonn-wee - Standard Irish - flonn-vee - Munster and East Ulster Irish). Occasionally, dath oráistí (pronounced dah or-osh-chee) meaning "the color of an orange" is used.

Flannbhuí is coined from flann meaning "blood-red" and
buí meaning "yellow" or "tan," a cognate with Latin badius meaning "chestnut-colored."

As in English, orange was not originally a primary color in Irish although it is today.
