But they will answer ones that they can cut and paste from their web sites.

No, I have found that when you ask questions that they cannot answer directly from their website, they ignor them..Unless it is a simple one..Ask one that is a little complicated or looks as if you are trying to prove them wrong..and that is exactly how they take it..instead of just giving an honest answer ..their thoughts on it..or even better give Bible proof of it. My questions were regarding their F and D .Class.

There's fair comment in all the answers here, so far. A lot depends of where you're coming from. I think ABC means the answers he's read are so often just 'cut and paste' jobs from Wt.Soc literature, and he is correct. Most JW answers show the JW has not done any thinking for him or herself; they've just gone to their Wt.Soc literature index, found a reference and extracted a chunk from it. This is their idea of 'witnessing'. The F&D (Faithful & Discreet Slave Class - their leadership) has already spoken on the subject and they could not possibly improve on that! The F&D are the only ones giving out spiritual food today, didn't you know?
From the point of view of the JWs, though, they are frustrated that people either don't read their lengthy pastes, or that they're accused of not answering, or not thinking through the Qs. But they put it all down to persecution, which is further proof that God is using them alone as his witnesses.
And it is also true that some Christians who are not JWs can be guilty of much the same things. But here's the bone of contention: JWs, almost to a man (and a woman), conform to this pattern. Non-JWs on Yahoo come from myriad denominations but only a tiny percentage (proportionately) do cut-and-paste, unthinking jobs with answers. The uniformity amongst JWs is not unity - it's conformity to regulations and training. That's what it looks like, anyway, to me and lots of others.

precise apart from a pair of things: The persons on degree for the period of the Watchtower learn is the Watchtower Conductor, who's an elder, and the Watchtower reader, who isn't neccesarily an elder. That individual does not even could be a Ministerial Servant, he basically desires to be a brother in sturdy status. The Watchtower Conductor does not "clarify" the contents of the Watchtower, he basically asks the question and we could the aim marketplace remark, and often he provides some comments himself. additionally, those men for the period of the Watchtower bypass around a microphone, and not a speaker as you mentioned.

I was a Jehovah's Wittness as a child and adult. I am now Disfellowshiped for moral reasons, Im gay. However I do know that Jehovah's Wittnesses do study the same bible as all other Christians and they study alot. They are all about spreading the Word of God. And they are prepared to answer questions. I have respect for the religon ( i do think they are wrong on the gay issue ) and wouldnt have left if they hadnt booted me. Perhaps I stray from question, but i think they answer questions as well as any other religon.
Whats F and D class?

Most the copying and pasting occur when questions have been answers already but no one bothers to look up the previous answers in history.
If people did so, there would be no need to repeat the same answers over and over again.

ABC, perhaps the people who are online at the time haven't been in their religion long enough to know the answer to your question. If your question is just a backhanded way to put them down, you won't get good answers. Try filtering out any negativity in your question, then asking it. You will probably stimulate a genuine discussion.

What questions? I don't answer the ones that I know people have posted just to get some trouble started. If someone really wants to know something, they can ask and I'll answer it. But we DO use the Bible to answer the questions, unlike many others. We believe GOD's word, and our answer are from God's word, not from ourselves.

Is it that JWs and Christians (for Cindy_Cee13) haven't answered "important" questions on here? Or is it they you choose not to accept their answers?
