Kids love(and I do too) grill cheese sandwiches. My Mom would lightly butter two pieces of bread, but a slice of cheese between them. She would have melted some butter in a skillet or fry pan, not too much just about a pat. Let the skillet get hot then lay the sandwich down on the skillet. She would put a saucer on the top of the sandwich and get the largest can of whatever she had in the pantry and put that on the saucer to flatten out the sandwich. After lightly browning one side then she would turn it over and brown the other side. She never made enough of these, I could eat them faster than she could make 'em.

Hi Holly,
pulled chicken sandwich
cheddar cheese cubes
cantaloupe pieces
baby carrots, ranch dressing(dip)
juice or milk
take two boneless chicken breats and boil them until completely cooked through and no pink meat left. Remove from water and allow to cool. Take a fork and shred the chicken into a bowl. When all chicken has been shredded, mix with one container of barbecue sauce, place in a crock pot on low setting for 1 hour. Scoop the mixture onto buns or onto wheat bread for sandwiches. Kids cannot resist it....
good luck ~

Take a flour tortilla and put in on a dry frying pan over medium heat. Put some sliced cheese on one side and when its starts to melt fold the tortilla in half so it sticks together.
Cut the tortilla into narrow wedges. Pack in lunch with a little container of salsa for dipping.

Theres always the old fall back of sandwiches such as pb&j, but also shishkabobs with fruit, or taco salad, of course an adult would have to brown the meat, but that could always be done ahead of time and the children would just have to heat it up in the microwave. Salads can work too, you can make them fun by having alot of different ingredients and let the kids put them together just the way they like it. hope your lunches are enjoyable!

Stroganoff Stew
1 lb stew beef, browned and cubed
2 cups of water
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 tsp onion powder
¼ tsp garlic powder
1 tsp worstershire sauce
1 8 oz container sour cream
Cook beef in water until fork tender. Stir in remaining ingredients except for sour cream and warm over medium high heat until bubbly. Stir in sour cream and serve. May add cooked, drained egg noodles to make this recipe stretch for a larger crowd.
Meatball Subs
1 lb ground beef
½ cup bread crumbs
1 egg
1 tsp seasoned salt or herb seasoning mix
1 cup meatless spaghetti sauce
grated mozzarella cheese
hoagie buns
Mix together ground beef, bread crumbs, egg and seasoning. Shape into 1 ½ inch sized balls. Brown in skillet over medium heat. Add in spaghetti sauce and heat thoroughly. Spoon meatballs and sauce onto split rolls, sprinkle with cheese and serve.
Meat and Cheese Pita-Wiches
Open pita pockets and fill with your favorite meat and cheese sandwich fillings. Try to cook extra meat the night or two before and save for this lunch so you can have something fresh for these sandwiches. Add your favorite grated cheese, veggies and sandwich spread.
Chili Potatoes
1 baked potato for each serving
Cooked chili
Grated cheddar cheese
Sour cream
Teryaki Wings
10-15 chicken wings or drumettes
½ cup soy sauce
¼ cup brown sugar
1 tbsp oil
Preheat oven to 425° F. Toss wings in large plastic bag with soy sauce, brown sugar and oil until coated. Spread evenly on baking sheet and bake until juices run clear.

Buy a container of the frozen or fresh raviolis, boil according to directions, allow to drain and cool on waxed paper. When cool and dried, pack into a ziploc baggie and send with marinara or alfredo sauce for dipping.
Make sandwiches fun by cutting into fun shapes using cookie cutters
Lit'l Smokie Wraps
1 package Lit'l Smokies®
1 can Crescent dinner rolls dough
Heat oven to 375°F.
Cut each individual dinner roll in quarters.
Wrap each Lit'l Smokie in one quarter roll.
Place on ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375°F for 12-15 minutes or until golden brown.
Serve with warm spicy mustard, if desired
Mini Corndogs
1 box cornbread mix (I use Jiffy brand) (prepared with ingredients needed but not baked)
2 pkgs. mini hot dogs or "L'il smokies"
Dip hot dogs in prepared cornbread mix using fork and drop into hot oil to cook. Cook 1-2 minutes or until golden. Serve with mustard and/or ketchup.
TURKEY & CHEESE POCKETS
2 oz. (1/4 of 8-oz. pkg.) PHILADELPHIA Cream Cheese, softened
1 Tbsp. MIRACLE WHIP Dressing
1 tsp. GREY POUPON Dijon Mustard
4 slices OSCAR MAYER Shaved Smoked Turkey Breast, finely chopped
1/4 cup KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
1 can (7.5 oz) refrigerated biscuits (10 biscuits)
PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Mix cream cheese, dressing and mustard in small bowl until well blended. Add turkey and cheese; mix well. Set aside. PRESS or roll out each biscuit to 3-1/2-inch circle. Place 1 heaping tsp. cream cheese mixture onto each biscuit circle. Fold dough over filling to make small turnover shapes. Firmly press edges of dough together to seal. Place on ungreased baking sheet.
BAKE 10 to 12 min. or until lightly browned. Serve hot.
MINI HAM AND CHEESE CALZONES
1 can (11 oz.) refrigerated soft breadsticks
1/2 cup KRAFT Shredded Mozzarella Cheese
12 slices OSCAR MAYER Shaved Honey Ham, cut in half
2 Tbsp. KRAFT 100% Grated Parmesan Cheese
PREHEAT oven to 400°F. Unroll dough; separate into 12 breadsticks. Cut each breadstick crosswise in half; flatten dough to 2-inch width. SPOON 1 tsp. cheese onto center of each ham piece. Fold ham over cheese to create a tight roll. Place ham roll near the end of each piece of breadstick dough, leaving a border. Fold dough over ham, pinching edges to seal. Repeat process for all ham pieces. Place calzones on baking sheet. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese. BAKE 12 to 15 min. or until golden brown. Serve warm.
Buffalo Chicken Tenders
1/2 c all purpose flour
1/2 c hot cayenne pepper sauce
1 c dry bread crumbs
4 boneless; skinless chicken breast
1 nonstick cooking spray
Preheat oven to 425. Place flour, hot sauce and bread crumbs each in its own shallow dish. Dip chicken strips into flour, then hot sauce, then crumbs-coat evenly with each. Place coated strips about 1 inch apart on lightly sprayed cooking sheet and bake for about 8 min. Turn chicken over and spray with cooking spray; cook for 2-3 more minutes, or until chicken is cooked through and breading is golden brown.
