Christmas appears in Dec 25th because after the great apostacy(Where pure Chritianity was lost, and fell apart and the powers of God were removed from the earth) It starts with the Catholics (which most christian religions today aposticized from) The Catholics took the strugling and already fallen apart peices of Christianity and blended them with pagan rituals, ceremonys and DATES. Dec 25 is actually a pagan holliday that constanople decided to merge into Catholicism

I think a fair amount DO think he was born on Dec.25th, sadly. There are all these Christmas songs about Jesus being born on Christmas (hello, Away in a Manger?), cards saying to celebrate Jesus' birthday, etc.

No one tells them, that's why. I never understood why people ever claimed it was his day of birth in the first place. Well, I suppose at the Council of Nicea it was decided that it would be easier to tell the Pagans it was his birthday and so to stop celebrating the winter solstice and instead celebrate Jesus. Don't want to confuse the masses too much. Easier to give them something else to celebrate on that day than to forbid them for partying completely, I guess.

I have never heard a single Christian claim that this is when Jesus was born. If you look at history, December 25th is set aside as a remembrance. Christian scholars assert it was probably sometime in the late spring, early summer.

Every Day in Light and Life is as Christmas or better !

This is the Day our Lord God Jesus has made for us !
(Yes, Jesus Christ is our loving and merciful Universe Creator, loving Father-Son of God, Sovereign, our Good Savior, Very Elder Brother and Eternal Friend ! He is here with us in Spirit ! (John 16:7-16, John ch 17, et al)

By continuing Epochal Revelation of Truth, we Jesusonians know that Jesus as Joshua ben Joseph the GODMAN Babe of Bethlehem, Incarnated here (not merely born physical) at noon there on August 21, of 7 BC. (our calendars are off)

We pray, worship, celebrate our Master's Birth as also a Son of Man on both Aug 21 and Dec 25 and anytime we so reflect.

The Absolute of time is Eternity
The Absolute of space is Paradise
The Absolute of You is GOD

In GOD in JESUS in SPIRIT in Paradise-Eternity there are no more time and space and finite mortal body limitations.

Rev 21: 3-7 can be experienced here and now !

Peace and progress,
Brother Dave, a Jesusonian Christian Truthist

It is not that we believe He was born on December 25. His actual birthdate is unknown to us, however we do know that He was born. A date was set aside to remember Him and celebrate His birth. It just happens to be the 25th of December.

December 25th used to be some other holiday, until the Romans designated it as Jesus' b-day.

Anyone that believes that is probably just believing that because they have never heard or looked for the truth. No one knows what day Jesus was born. It was just picked out, long ago.

I don't believe he was actually born in December, wouldn't it have been too cold for the shepherds to have been out? I don't know anything about the climate in that area, but my son at 4 asked me that question at Christmas one year. Everyone grew silent in the room :-)
