Jeff Burton... It would be nice to see a classy driver win it for a change... Prob. won't happen though cuz the people who win the championship are those who will do ANYTHING to win. Burton is just not that kind of racer, he wants to win the right way.

As it happens my favorite driver (Mark Martin) is running a part-time schedule and not likely to make the chase. Therefore I'm rooting for Jeff Burton to win the Cup.

Again, you ask interesting questions. I have already seen Jimmie Johnson win a championship (2ND favorite driver). I haven't seen Jeff Gordon (absolute favorite driver) win a championship since I have only been a fan of NASCAR for a little over a year. I would like to see Jeff win a championship and it looks like that will happen this year, but since you said some other driver other than your favorite I would say Dale Earnhardt Jr. It is a long shot but it will probably happen in a couple of years.

Jeff Burton or Mark Martin. Bowyer hasn't proven much yet, think it's a little early to say he deserves a championship.

If i could pick anyone to win it would be Mark Martin. Hes been chasing that dream for so long and I would love to see him get it. Hes always upbeat and never puts others down. He claims responsibility if he does something wrong and even when he doesn't. I think it would be nice to see him win before he retires forever. I know its very unlikely but as a good human being and a nice man he does deserve one.

I would like to see Carl Edwards win the championship if Jimmie wasn't in the chase. Bowyer or Burton wouldn't be bad either. There aren't very many that I would be real disappointed if they won it.
