Yea thermophiles... Bacteria that requite temperatures over 122 degrees F and some even 220 degrees F to live. They're very cool little guys.

Errr….

Make that hot.

Huh... It seems odd that drowning a hot spring with a lot of fresh water would not make it... well.... a lot less hot.

The Bible doesn't say Noah brought each and every kind of living organism onto the ark: it only says he brought what creeped on the earth. Genesis 7:21 says "and all flesh died that moved on the earth: birds and cattle and beasts and every creeping thing that creeps on the earth, and every man." Thermophilic organisms don't fit into any of these categories.

Nice try. As a consolation prize, I offer you a burrito from Deke.

Thermophiles are creatures living in extremely hot conditions (thermal ocean vents etc.) They wouldn't need to be on Noah's ark because they would not necessarily be exterminated by the flood. (It's reported that: Everything on the dry land in whose nostrils was the breath of life died. )

Creationontheweb.org has a fairly comprehensive article on whether all the animals could have fit on Noah's ark:

Spoiler: Their answer is: Yes :-)

The ark included only land animals, not those living in hot springs. The hot springs didn't take a vacation, you know.

Apparentley, since every animal was the result of spicy incest sex, there were only two termites etc. which isn't alot of wood-eating species.
