The Bible tells us that they think that we are fools. Where?
1 Corinthians 1
18 For the message of the cross is foolishness to those who are perishing, but to us who are being saved it is the power of God. 19 For it is written:
"I will destroy the wisdom of the wise;
the intelligence of the intelligent I will frustrate."
It is important for us to understand; they have no basis of belief. They think that it is simply a strong sense of will from ourselves that we decide to believe. But God has given us His Spirit, so that it becomes possible for us to believe.
So God gets the credit, and that's why we say, " Glory to God" , because He really deserves the credit for righteousness AND our understanding.

No, not really, since we all have the right to believe differently, doesn't make my opinion any better than another, nor my Faith better than another.
I get insulted when people jump down someone's throat for being human (to err is human, to love divine) We all make mistakes, and not just spelling ones.
Tolerance has never been the hallmark of the Human Race, and we tend to fear that which we do not understand.
I respect others, and only ask that they respect me, if they feel that they need to make a point by insult someone's intelligence/education, then that is their choice, and their opinion alone.
Hope that answers your question. Luck to you in all things.

Hey, I never insult the education or intelligence of the religious types. Well, maybe their intelligence a bit .
"Unsult" is, I assume, just a simple typo like we all make from time to time.

As a Jewish person, i do no longer understand lots with regard to the adjustments between the denominations different than the schism between Catholics and Protestants. I grew up in an area which replace into area Jewish and area Catholic, so i assume i'm extra conscious of Catholicism. yet I would desire to assert i replace into truly indignant by skill of the Southern Baptists and their marketing campaign some years in the past to transform Jews which they introduced at Rosh Hashanah, our holiest days. i assumed that took an undesirable lot of chutzpah (Yiddish for nerve) i ask your self how valuable they have been?

i am one of them. i am an unbeliever. but i do not insult believers, i respect them and expect the same in return. i am friends with atheists and christians and there may be arguments on bad days but there is no reason people should hate other people because of religious preference. i encourage an open mind and diversity. could you imagine how dull this planet would be if everyone were the same? people are different and be glad about it.

I am an 'unbeliever' (technically not right: I do believe things, just not religion) and I don't do it without good cause.
The person who believes in god is not, to my mind, stupid, just not the same as me; the person who condemns others for not believing in god is also not stupid, just spiteful; the person who mispells atheist also doesn't warrant everyone leaping onto them.
The person who prays for my soul is an idiot for not recognising that I don't want it; the person who uses Pascal's Wager to rationalise belief is stupid because they can't see how badly that can backfire on them; the person who uses poor analogies is dumb for failing to see how weak they are.
Some people deserve it, some people don't. I don't think the religious do just for being religious.

Nah, because I know the truth about who I am and where I come from. It really makes me laugh when they do that and their question is full of blatant typos and bad grammar...I love going through and correcting them...I know I am smart, and I may not have gone all the way through college, I am still well educated, and I have a very high IQ...so I let it roll.

If my presence and my stating my opinions and my beliefs insult you, then good. It's time you learned that the world is not Christian. I think your side pays homage to insulting non-believers on this board...proving how un-Christian you really are in turned the other cheek. We have a right to be here and you whining about being insulted (not unsulted) won't make us leave. Learn to spell, it will improve our opinion of your intelligence.

Yes from the stand point of faith. It would have been better they were never born as mentioned in scripture. Tearing one's faith down is wrong, except if your atheist or Satanist, they are the most disruptive in this forum. Why the heck are they so concerned about what Christians believe anway? They have no belief system based on truth or fact. We have Christ who rose from the dead to tell everyone, he Lives. Who the heck do they have to support their Claim to Fame, uh let's see... No one. They have no faith and no fact so all they can attack is your education or their view of your intelligence.
