If not, then why do you believe that the Bible, written circa the year 100 CE, is 100% accurate when describing things that happened 4000 years prior, like the Creation and the Great Flood, etc?

pissdownsatansback: You're right.. how could I be so stupid.. the Bible wasn't written in 100 CE. It was written in 325 CE, at the Council of Nicaea, thanks for the catch.

First of all, it's "B.C." and "A.D." --- ***not*** that mindless and stupid "BCE" and "CE" crappola. To see how moronic the latter is, consider the fact that the two eras are keyed to the SAME event!

Now that that's cleared up -- the Bible was NOT written "circa 100 A.D." -- only the New Testament was written in that rough time frame. The OLD Testament was written partially by Moses, as long ago as 1500 B.C. So he was writing of events that both were *current* to him... AND of events that by that time had become very speculative, since they'd been passed down for many hundreds of years by often-flawed ORAL tradition. (I.e., legends.) Moses probably had NO ancient physical written texts of any kind to work from.

For anyone *today* to be able to fine-tune any of that would require discovery of such texts... the odds of which happening are probably right around infinity-to-one against.

Go ahead. Write to your hearts content. Those in the future will judge your writing. Out of all the literature written over the course of history, only the Bible is regarded as it is. It's accuracy is amazing. It's application still relevant today. No other book can make this claim. I think it stands out because of this. Doesn't surprise me one bit. Only God could author such a work. But you're welcome to try to duplicate it. Everyone else has failed so you'll just have to get in the heap of failure with the rest.

Because we have manuscripts that date back and they match what we have. The scroll found in Qumran in 47 with the Dead Sea Scrolls matches perfectly with what we have today (with the exception of three copying errors).

The copying procedure back then was amazing to say the least.

Therefore, I believe until someone finds me a scroll that contradicts everything found within the Bible.

yeah cause then you'd still be alive after 2000 years and obviously supernatural.

by your logic roman or greek history can't be factual because it was written a long time ago? pathetic thinking billy!

try some archaeology and some historical syncronism and try again. or better yet look into gematria or the book of enoch.

Dear Luke
I am afraid you are going straight to Hell.

See, the Bible is God's word, God never lies, therefore everything in the Bible is true

Really, how dumb can you be!
