I prefer Maruchan but I am eating Nissin TOP Ramen at this moment. I love the beef and the chicken. The oriental flavor bothers me. Here in the US we don't eat orientals.

Hey, Maruchan may be for the broke folk. But that is what I was raised on. yup, we were broke and creative. The Maruchan noodles are good and the broth is better. You can doctor it up with some onions, chicken breast. or maybe a corn tortilla with a hot dog as a side. come on. now that's good eatin.

WHOA I never really thought about this so I went and taste tested them both
Nissin is less salty
Maruchan has more rich, chickeny flavor and a more robust aroma. it filled my kitchen with the pleasing scents of creamy, roast chicken and delicious ramen

I've only seen Maruchan, never Nissin. I've seen other brands, but we seem to stick with Maruchan! My son loves ramen noodles, but I avoid them because they are loaded with sodium! Yuck!

Nissin is the REAL stuff. Maruchan is good if you're poor and don't care too much about quality
