Could someone give me a step by step approach to changing a fuse in my truck?

Open the glove box with the owners' manual and it will tell you.

Check with the owners manual. There will be a fuse puller in the fuse panel cover. Just put it on the fuse, and press and pull. There are also extra fuses in the cover, so replace it with a fuse of the same rating. (They are colored coded) so make sure they are the same color. good luck.

well, is it a regular fuse? like in the fuse panel? if it is its real easy. Just make sure the truck is off, and pull the burned out fuse, most fuse panels have a puller included, but if yours doesn't, anything will work, I use a pen cap, plastic, to pry mine out. They should be labeled, and make sure replace it with same amp and type of fuse. hope this helps.
