Well, that depends if Global warming keep continuing than i think there will be no 3000 year. But if all of us starting helping stop global worming then there might we a chance. There is food problems might ac our because of population, population problems as resource, trees, water, disease, life condition, poverty, war, natural disaster, drought, and religious persuasion. These are all death threats to all the humans alive. Some serious thinkers are starting to do just that. But can our minds even project that far? How will we work, play, propagate, communicate, worship, wonder? What forms of bodies will we have? What will our cities look like? How many nations will there be? How long will we live? What technologies will be available to us? What about family, business, government, education? How deep into space will humans have ventured? How many people will live on Earth? How strange will it be? Most of us don't know what we'll be doing a year from now; why then should we care about what our descendent's will be doing a thousand years from now? It's fun to speculate, sure; but envisioning the year 3000 may be more than an idle exercise or mere amusement. Our time-traveling futurists explain. Anyway we are going to be death by that time!!!

Global warming is already upon us and has been for some time but it's not always as bad as some sections of the media like to make out.

It's widely affecting Africa and Asia right now and to a lesser extent other parts of the world as well. The effects are all around us but there won't be any doomsday scenario or scenes like those from The Day After Tomorrow - this is the stuff of filmwriter's imaginations.

We are already seeing are gradual changes, these changes will continue for some time regardless as to anything we do. Over decades and centuries these gradual changes add up to significant changes. Because they're slow it gives us time to adapt and one of the great things about humans is our adaptability.

Yes there will be changes and yes many people will be adversely affected but we'll survive and still be here in the year 3000 and long beyond that.

It seems NASA is softening it's stance on " Global Warming" and admitting it's proper name should be " Climate Change". It is becoming apparent that it is the sun and it may be reacting to a large body or planet entering our solar system. Niberu is anticipated returning in not too long before 2100 but it's effects on our gravities etc. and the suns solar storms will be felt long before . This is likely what the deluge in the old testament with Noah was all about also. Unfortunately now, with modern technology it's not likely there will be survivors. Unless you can get off the planet the nuclear meltdowns and the stockpiles or oil etc will make the planet uninhabitable even if the storms and flooding didn't kill you...Have a Nice Day.. :-)

I don't know much about global warming, but I don't think we'll make it to the year 3000. I'm a Christian, and I think the End of Times is getting closer and closer. I don't know if it will happen in my lifetime, or even my childrens, but I know it will happen.

I'm more worried that the Earth has STOPPED warming (no increase since 1998.) That can only mean one thing - the temperature has peaked, and we're heading for massive Global COOLING!

The year 3000 will be very cold indeed! And it will be all Al's fault for making us stop pumping CO2 into the atmosphere!

Just like jaberwock said, of course there will be a year 3000 (I'm not trying to put you down) but what I think you mean is will we (humans) experience it? I think so, but we wont be healthy, The yr 3000 definitely WONT be with underwater people and flying cars and boy bands (from a song) but we will be alive, if you've ever read the book called 'the girl who owned a city' that's what I think it'll be like, although with adults. but the world will kinda be abandoned

There will be a year 3000, with people to celebrate it too. And global warming is ALREADY here. If you think it will ever get so bad as to kill everybody, you have fallen for the false political hype.

Yes of course! And humans will still be around. We are too intelligent to extinguish ourselves completely.

The question might be if war, deceases and natural disasters may have limited us to only a few millions left where only the strongest, smartest and/or richest will survive.

Personally I have hopes that our future relatives actually will live in a better and more sustainable world with better understanding of nature and how everything comes together.

At the current rate that global warming is quickly progressing, there is no way whatsoever that humanity will even still be around to see the New Millienium.....straight up sentiments, and blessings to you.....
