they arent as strong as metal braces and cost more too, so if you have a serious problem, and your ortho will tell you which are better for your teeth personally.you may need other things like expander pallates, spacers and even something as geeky as head gear, lol. just go for an ortho appointment and get the xrays, models and exams done in one appointment. from then on you can decide if you really want/need braces for your teeth.

I work in a dental office that do both metal and invisiline and the invisiline is expensive and takes alot longer to straighten your teeth than metal braces also you have to be extremely commited because your able to remove them and metal you cant

I have braces now and i wanted invisiline cause i felt self conscious at work dealing with clients a such...but i couldn't get them! invisiline is only for crooked teeth. If there is something wrong with your bite like a cross bite or something you cant get them. your only choice at that point is metal or white (4get what they're called). Hope that helps.
In the end of it al it will be def. worth it!

Just get them. I got them when I was over 40. Ask your ortho about invisiline - can you afford the extra cost of them?

Invisalign is awesome. I'm in the process myself. But it's not for everyone. The more severe the case the more likely you'll have to go the traditional route of regular braces. But Invisalign trays are taken out at meals, therefore your teeth aren't sore when you eat, and they look great. Most people don't have a clue I'm wearing them. Good Luck!

Get an orthodontist appointment to get your teeth checked. They will know what's best for your teeth. Invisilines do work, but it depends on the way your teeth are.

Good luck!

Invisalign are awesome. They are so easy to clean because they are removable. You won't look dorky in the holiday pictures. They work great! They come in a series of trays that you wear in sequence, each set of trays moving your teeth just a little...then the next set moves them a little more...and so on, until you get to the final set. The last set will be your retainers to help keep your teeth in place. They are more expensive than regular wire braces, but I think they're worth it.

I?m guessing it would depend on how much dental work you would need. I can also understand your concerns about not wanting the metal braces at your age, but nowadays, they really make some nice metal, some are even undetectable.

My son is 20 and needs braces, and he too wants invisilign over the metal. We will see in December what's best for him.

Invisilailgns are way better than regular braces.
They do the same job as regs but are practically invisible
and require fewer dentist visits.
you can also take them of to brush, floss and eat so food doesnt cluster around the wires and you can maintain your teeth.
Invisaligns are about the same price as regs but are totally worth it. You recieve two sets of aligners and change them on a weekly basis but it will become a second nature eventually.
anyway i hope this information is useful
