My friend got it as a tattoo and won't tell me what it means. He got it after a long while of wanting this particular symbol and no I do not mean it to be the heart symbol <3.

That's just weird.
I searched the web and can't find anything I can't imagine, unless he or she lost weight or wants to? cause the number symbol can mean "pound" so ... less pounds?

<# is for a heart because the same key on a keyboard is punched for both # and 3... and <3 would be a heart (love). Hope this helps!

write <3 on a paper by attaching the corners.. you can see a heart... must be a sleeping heart ha ha... 'coz usually heart should be in a standing style :)
