I know you will be close to God and happy in the afterlife, but isn't forever a very long time. What do you propose is the meaning of an eternity in heaven. Is it possible that it is not as good as it seems just as things are on earth?

I'm not in charge of scheduling.
I'll have to wait and see.

What's so hard to contemplate about eternal bliss? Do you think there won't be any fun in heaven?

We'll enjoy working and playing; we'll enjoy our relationship with God and our relationships with each other. We'll enjoy continually learning new things and making new discoveries (the universe is a big place). We'll never be bored; we'll never run out of things to do. God is the ultimate Creator; what makes you think He's going to stop creating things?

Heaven not as good even as earth? What a mis-perception! This world is the shadow, the mirror, the imitation; life in heaven will be the real thing, so vibrant and colorful that this earthly life will be totally pale by comparison!

There is a reason it is called paradise. It's easy to get there too, because Jesus has made the way at great cost to Himself. He paid the price so we don't have to. All you have to do is acknowledge that you are a sinner deserving of eternal death, personally accept His sacrifice on the cross in your place (in which God the Father poured out all His wrath toward sinners onto God the Son), and accept Jesus into your heart as Lord.

"If you confess with your mouth, 'Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved." (Romans 10:9)

Its going to be better than how things are on earth. There would be no more pain, suffering, confusion, troubles, etc. In heaven, the only thing that we will be doing is giving praise to God. Right now your probably thinking that it sounds boring and like some type of dictatorship but in all actuality, its going to bring happiness to your heart.
Think about it like this, the same happiness and joy that Adam and Eve had while they were in the garden of Eden, we will have in heaven.
If you look at it, when God made them, they knew no sin, until they met the devil. When we're in heaven we will also know no sin, and the devil can't get us because he's stuck in a fiery pit.

I don't believe for a minute we flutter about with wings and sing gospel songs for eternity.( that sounds a lot like hell) God knows man needs to be challenged and productive to be happy. I believe after we have reached the spiritual level known as heaven, God will permit us to join him in creating. No, we do not become gods, but we can then be trusted to make spiritual decisions void of mortal mans failings and shortcomings. I firmly believe that this experience and every other experience we go through is to prepare us to help our father in heaven.

Maybe we will get bored and create a planet and go back down to it and live a life like we are doing now just for fun?? we already know we existed before this earth and when born into it we were caused to forget our past life with god so we would have free choice.

I'm not a Christian. I'm anti-religion. However, a Christian friend of mine said that, God is full of knowledge that the human mind, soul etc... cannot even grasp. They would spend eternity in Heaven learning all the wonders from God, and that it is never ending.

Eye has not seen, ear has not heard, the heart cannot conceive, of all that God has prepared for those who love Him.

It is beyond my ability to imagine what heaven will be like. As I trust God in all things, I also trust Him in His preparing a place for me for all eternity.

When you are in Heaven it is not like being on earth, you don't need earthly things, you won't know anyone as you did on earth, and you will not be in Heaven in a flesh body either, so you won't be walking around or anything. I imagine being in Heaven is so peaceful, so much better then being on this sinful, backward earth.....

you do no longer understand considering which you do no longer understand the recommendations of the christian believer. they crave authority. life is in basic terms too complicated for them. they crave to be recommended what to do and the thank you to stay. the bible supplies them those policies. to them slavery IS freedom. it is twisted specific. yet so is the Totalitarian recommendations. they crave dominance and servitude. they do no longer see themselves as worth of their very own accomplishments. so as that they credit a extra physically powerful authority. they are able to't think of springing up their very own life so the say that "god" has their purpose. they think of that obedience is the optimal accomplishment. for it is the sole sin that the bible teaches. OBEY god's instructions or die. it is somewhat that easy. God tells you what to do and you the two do it, or be punished. it is so ordinary. ordinary minds choose ordinary solutions to complicated issues. their concept of "god" supplies them this. do as he instructions or die. if the Christian or Jewish God is regarded at heavily lots of it is tenants crumple under scrutiny. recommendations alongside with unique sin, or maybe the Holy Trinity disintegrate if regarded at heavily. yet they do no longer opt to look at them heavily. simply by fact they provide the straightforward rationalization to why we go through and what occurs to us as quickly as we die. their minds won't be able to cope with certainty so as that they invents an imaginary paradise. babies do it each and all of the time in abused properties or stressful situations. the minds protection against rigidity. different than those each person is adults. that's what's gloomy, and frightening.
