Ah, the age old question. Any guy who claims that he is not scared out of his wits to ask a girl out is lying. We build up in our mind that girls hold all the power and that they are just waiting to humiliate us if we expose even a little bit of our feelings to them We fear rejection, but we mostly fear the possibility of ridicule.
Well, there is no special "technique" to asking a girl out that will magically make that fear go away. It's all in your attitude to it. You have to ask yourself, "what's the worst that could happen? She'll say no, she'll tell her friends? So what? I am certainly not ashamed of my feelings, they are valid and she should be flattered."
In most cases the fears are entirely unfounded. Even if she says no, she will be flattered (even if she doesn't admit it) and will be polite about it. If she isn't then it should help you realize how wrong you are to be interested in her in the first place.

Have confidence! If you think she might like you then you have a chance. If she says no then just play it off and act cool about it. Act like you just are 'THE MAN' and you get girls all the time :-) Don't act cocky by any means! :-) We don't like that kind of guy. Just be a sweet confident!

just do what I do... send your friend over to her and make him say this, "Hey, (her name), i'm (yourname)'s friend.. he was wondering if you would go out with him? If she says no tell your friend to say, "i'm just kidding." if she says yes..you got a new girlfriend!
