Everybody twitches when they dream. You just don't realize it because you're sleeping. Cats, horses, bunnies... they all do the same thing.

hehe! my dog does that too! lol, he's only 18 months, but he's done it since he was just a tiny little puppy. LOL, he twitches and snores when he sleeps. Fun to watch him.

All animals do. They're in REM sleep. I'm not sure if dogs actually dream in the same sense that humans do, but I like to think that my dogs are dreaming of chasing squirrels or cats.

They're dreaming, my dog's did that as puppies, one time he actually ran in his sleep, we had to wake him up because he was scratching the floor.

Dogs dream as well as people and maybe he is chasing that fat cat in his dreams or a hot honey or maybe that car he cant seem to catch when hes awake but either way its dream related

most puppies twick in their sleep when they are dreaming about running. My 7 year old dog does the same thing, but litteraly runs when sleeping.
