So when you go to the store which bottle water is actually spring water? Just learned Dasani and Aquafina aren't. Is there a better water?

I have found that some spring waters taste better than filtered water in my opinion. They are all much better for you that anything else you could be drinking. It seems like most of the spring waters that I have bought have been local products. When I lived in Louisiana I used to buy Kentwood Springs Water (home of Britney Spears), and Abita Springs water. Lately I usually buy Aquafina since it is a little easier to find in Kansas. The wife of one of my co-workers only buys only Fiji water, I haven't tried it.

For those who are worried about saving the planet it is still possible to drink decent water. You can refill a 5 gallon water cooler bottle at most grocery stores with good filtered water. We have Culligan water at Dillon's in Kansas. I had been exchanging my bottle which is a pretty environmentally friendly practice for about $6.00 a bottle but found out the other day that if I refill my own bottle with their vending machine that its only 39 cents a gallon. Now this is filtered water but its a heck of a lot better than tap water, and if I'm using the same bottle over and over again I don't know what all of the crabbing is about. Any of you who say that tap water is just as good obviously haven't drink-en the rural tap water in Kansas.

what's "better", do you want spring water or filtered water (water with all the "bad things" filtered out). Spring water doesn't make it better water it's a marketing tool companies use to trick you into buying their water. Buy a brita filter, or a travel water bottle with the filter in it and use that - that's your best bet.

If I have to buy it, I prefer Poland Springs. If it does NOT say spring water -- it isn't.

I normally use home filtered water in reusable containers, myself. Better for environment, and clean enough that I can tolerate it. Tap water makes me physically ill.

VOSS is the best bottled water out there. A bit hard to find but I asked my local publix to order me a case and they did.

The best water comes from your kitchen faucet. It is stupid to buy water.

Filter your own. It's cheaper.

Please, for the love of our earth, just drink tap water.
