It doesn't matter if they have free will, he already know what they will freely choose. In that case, why create someone who you know will suffer in Hell? Wouldn't it be infinitely more good to not create them at all?

Mike: Why couldn't God educate you without sending people to Hell? He's God. He's omnipotent.

rebossry: But the Atheists God created have no chance. He already knows they won't ever believe. He created them anyway. They are doomed with no hope. Not nice.

Everyone has a chance to open their heart to Christ, this is a gift to us, but what we decide to do will show the results.... God gives us a chance, but most of us are too blind to see it.

You should check out David Hume's Arguments for Natural Religion. Also the Argument for Design is really interesting. Here are some of my ramblings on related topics:

The problem of evil and its existence in the world can refute god’s existence by considering the fact that supposedly god is omniscient, omnipotent, and omnibenevolent. If god is truly omnibenevolent, there could not possibly be evil present on earth; if god is omnipotent he/she/it would have the power to prevent any and all evil from coming about. If god is omniscient, he/she/it would have absolute knowledge to prevent all evil beings or actions from accomplishing their evil actions. Theists can try to explain the existence of evil by using examples such as: god is testing us in suffering, evil is just an absence of god/light, or saying that there is a balance between good and evil. An atheist would respond by questioning why an omniscient, omnibenevolent, omnipotent god would be testing us, allowing evil, or letting things just balance out. If god does these things then god is definitely not omnibenevolent…etc. The free will defense tries to save belief in god by proposing that god created certain creatures/humans with the ability to choose between good and evil by creating them as free beings that cannot always be determined to do the right thing. However, an atheist might reply, that if god is truly omnipotent (an all powerful being with no limitations), how could god not create beings that would always choose the right or correct way? If god cannot do that, then god is not omnipotent and the free will defense would not explain the existence of god.

Freedom of action is the ability to choose one action over a different action freely. Freedom of will is the ability to control one’s own desires and intentions. Determinism is a concept that assumes every event is already predetermined or fixed by past events. Universal determinism is a theory that there is past causes for each and every event (cause and effect), this theory does not allow room for freedom of action or will because literally everything is predetermined and possibly completely predictable. Compatibilism is a theory that counters universal determinism that allows for some amount of free will. This theory is in essence, saying that one is free if one is free if one performs an action but could have done otherwise than perform it. The theory of incompatibilism is a bit more complicated as it can go two different ways. The first, hard determinism follows the rule that determinism and freedom cannot be compatible and that determinism trumps freedom in all cases. The second, libertarianism, also states that freedom and determinism are not compatible, but that freedom trumps determinism in all cases. Free will is a precondition of moral assessment of an action; this is an important objection to determinism because morality cannot exist without an amount of free will. If one does not have the freedom to make choices, or freedom of the will, then one cannot be morally responsible for any action. If a potential murderer does not have freedom of the will, then he/she does not have the power to choose whether or not to murder if it is predetermined, and therefore not morally responsible.

i do no longer think of you're condemned to hell for no longer believing on your lifetime If any of the judgement day stuff is actual you will possibly nevertheless have a call whilst the day comes This selection may be between solid and evil. simply by fact that atheists are no longer many times evil they might have the prospect to make that determination. returned, in simple terms asserting if the bible is actual you will possibly see the 2nd coming. info precise in front of your eyes. Poof, your in....or toast. Lol

Why create a utopia for his creation. Pain is the best way to signal his boundless love. As for everlasting hell, so god is just a touch sadistic. So what, everyone has a little bit of perversion in them.

If someone freely chooses to be Atheist, then that's their choice. Yes, God knew they were going to choose that, and He's sad about that, but it's not His fault. It's a hard concept to understand, you just have to accept it through faith.

Because god is more full of hate than love, that is why the majority of all people on planet earth will go to hell. The majority of the earth population doesn't believe in the Christian god, and are automatically condemned to hell, which is obviously what god wants. Face it, he hates us and probably feels bad when someone gets by and sneaks in to his heavenly domain. He's obviously a loner, since he doesn't talk to anyone or show himself to anyone on earth.

oh wait, scratch that, god doesn't exist. I was just making stuff up, just like Christians!

BECAUSE, God did NOT predestine you to go to Hell. People choose to go to Hell rather than
choose God. SAD, but true .

Yes. A loving God would not create something he knew he would later allow to be tortured for eternity.

That's one of the key problems with the "father" label for God. What would you think of a human father who tortured his children for eternity for not worshiping him?

Yet that's the image of "God the father" that Christians hold up as a role model. Some serious issues there.

If God would control all our thoughts and make us like robots he would contradict himself. So with that being said there would be no heaven because if we were all like that this question would have never been asked. But like you said free will, its true. If you were to have a child and knowing that child would reject (just like they all do) would you destroy or let live? destroy and you are just plain evil. But God creates because he love's you so much and wants you to be his child.
