Yellow with either a light chocolate or even a whipped cream frosting. I don't know anyone that does not like yellow cake and if you are worried about her not liking chocolate, whipped cream is safe. Serve with sliced fruit.

I know a lot of people like chocolate cake (with a Kool Whip icing), or yellow cake if you're not sure (you can put chocolate icing on it that they can remove, or make it strawberry short cake and everyone loves that). Or, as we used to do, make a marble cake (yellow cake with chocolate swirls in it) or a checkerboard cake (you'd have to buy the pan for that) and make it checkered yellow and chocolate. Or make a boston cream pie (it's a cake with cream pudding in the center and chocolate icing, when cold it tastes scrumptuous). Your choice.

Ask your friend. Whenever I invite people over for dinner, we discuss the menu. God knows I would hate to plan an entire meal around something my guests couldn't eat. So ask already!
