Are these signs following you?

Mark 16:17-18: "And these signs will follow those who believe: In My name they shall cast out demons; they will speak with new tongues; they will take up serpents; and if they drink anything deadly, it will by no means hurt them; they will lay hands on the sick, and they will recover."

I am not saying these would not work, however, I do not think someone should try them to prove they are a Christian. Jesus does not want anyone doing that either. One is a Christian if the believe Jesus Christ died for their sin and rose again to be their mediator between a holy God and sinful men. Whoever believes in Christ has eternal life. What Jesus wants us to do is repent of our sin and strive towards godliness. When we fall he wants us to repent and ask his forgiveness and get up and try again. He want us to be the light of the world and build His Kingdom here on earth by witnessing the good news to all nations. He wants us to follow the Spirit because those who follow the Spirit are under grace. Peace be with you.

No I do not speak in tongues. Acts 2: 4-8
The disciples were filled with the Holy Ghost
and were able to speak in their own language, and other people who spoke different languages heard it in theirs.

yes~ (c:

By those mandated by God, these are done daily.

Non Christian words to help you understand us.

You gotta be in it to WIN it...

The higher the level of understanding of Gods plan for us, the MORE FAITH in TRUE deeds of Faith are revealed.

Christian Words: our mission....
Showing the Love of God with Power and Genuine Demonstration of Righteousness, Peace, and Joy in His Holy Spirit in order to first be with Him and evoke the Faith that is first required for True repentance and change; is required. (Romans 2:4, Hebrews 11:16)

This means that in order to help non Christians understand our existance AS Christians, we should NOT scare you away by UNCHRISTIAN behavior, but HELP you to feel THE POSITIVE effects OF Christian behavior we share, THEN when your heart feels these things YOUR OWN Faith INSTALLS its OWN self in your HEART so that YOU too will "Know" what we HAVE been celebrating (c:

Christians~YOU are getting the questions that non believers fall to when THEY can not wrap their heads around what we tell them.Nons feel like they NEED to discredit the"obvious flaws"in our knowledge. For every person that turns from God or mocks OUR efforts here,THERE ARE OTHERS that are being reached just BY our replies. It may NOT be our Job to reach the very people that try and discredit us.YET,THEY TOO are PART of Gods PLAN.They are here by His GRACE to help US ALL.Whether the nons believe that or NOT is NOT of our concern, because WE know the "truth".WE believe in Gods divine gifts of putting others in our paths to HELP HIS plan. Until a heart is PREPARED to release the mean,or their GRIEFS and turn their lives around, they NEED more information. We are put here by God to RELAY His promises. Why us?Because we have prepared HEARTS and excepted the job of BEING His soldier.Christians that stay here, and NOT leave due to "mean", learn A LOT. Nons R Blessings!STAY and help the lurkers. Source(s) LIFE as I know it and LIVE it.
The more mature we become as Christians THE BETTER WE respond! To dissuade others with NON Christlike behaviour IS A SIN too~

You left out dancing with the snakes after taking them up and saving Wheaties box-tops.

But your point is well taken. All true believers will take poison and be unharmed. All other are bearing false witness about their relationship with Jesus, and will be damned.

I guess the only way to find out is to have them ALL drink poison. If they die, they were never real christians at all.
I'll chip in a few hundred dollars towards the strychnine.

But do they truly believe in their hearts and minds, and souls,
if they truly believe they would not to be glorified in the eyes of men as Moses was, or the Prophets. for they have their rewards.

Thou shall not tempt the LORD thy God.

That's in the long ending of mark which is incorrect, get a JW bible and it'll also have the short ending which most scholars deem as more correct.
