I've been in a relationship for 6 years. My gf takes a long time to get ready no matter what. When she goes out with her friend/friends, it takes her like an hour and a half and she changes like 4 different times, looking for the right outfit. she doesn't dress slutty, but classy and sexy. Should i be worried if she pays attention so much to looking good when going out without me, or is it just one of those girl things?

She just wants to look good when she's out. No big deal. And if someone buys her a drink, oh well, she's still coming home to you.

It is a girl thing! She doesn't want to look stupid infront of you so she has to make sure it is perfect! Even when I am going to a friend's house for a casual dinner I usually dress up a little! That is what she is probably going for! Somethin casual yet a little dressy! Don't worry! She isn't planning anything! Just a girl thing most girls do that!

I do the same thing. I've always been that way. I have to get dressed to take the trash out.lmao. My husband always ask why, and it's so I look good for him, he got with me because of the way I look and I'm sure it's the same for you. So enjoy having a girlfriend who takes care of herself.

That depends...when she goes out with you does she spend as much time getting ready? If that's just how she is all the time, no big deal...if she only takes that time when going out with others, then you might question her about it.

it's usually because your friends, single or taken, are going to dress a certain way and you want to look similarly good. It's competing with your friends. You want to look good but not necessarily for other guys.
