This relates to the whole gay marriage debate and such, and is especially directed towards christians, republicans, and people against gay marriage.
What I ask is this. Why do you care? if you're not gay, why is it any of your buisness? why not just let people be together??

I agree, Straight people can't even stay married so why not give someone else a shot.

I don't understand either. Not even according to Julia's logic. Bestiality, child molestations, incest, all of those things cause harm to others. Two consenting gay adults never hurt anyone.

As a matter of fact I dated a hard core Christian guy for 2 years. A couple of years after we broke up he told me he was gay. Now that would have really screwed me up, if we had gotten married and had kids.....that would have cause a lot of harm to innocent people.

I think people still believe that old stereotype gay people are more likely to be child molesters. Also not true...:

Applying that logic, we should let men marry their sisters. We should let people marry their dogs. We should let men marry 10-year-old girls. And we should let people marry multiple spouses. The possibilities are endless!

I mean, I'm not a partaker of incest, I'm not into bestiality, I'm not a pedophile or a polygamist -- but who am I to judge people who are? Why not just let these people be together?

Point is: it's a dangerous thing to allow marriage to be redefined and expanded based on whatever is "trendy" in the culture at the time.

Christians, the ones who pretend to be all about love, are bigoted hypocrites. In their minds, the whole "let he who is without sin cast the first stone" rubbish is for others less righteous than them to follow.

I honestly can't see why anyone would believe that the parties to some other marriage would affect their own.
