Find a guy that DOESN'T have a girlfriend. Doesn't matter how she treats him, it's not right to be with someone who is with someone else.
If he really likes you and is tired of her ways he'll leave her and then you two can see what blossoms between you.
Until then, I'd stay away.

So your very eager to be the back burner not even a second choice new girl because he refuses to leave a crappy relationship for one with you? If he wont leave a crappy relationship ship for you what would make you think you could ever stand a chance against some real competition? I know this sounds harsh but its the truth sweety if you want to be a friend be a friend and offer support stop being an opportunist looking out for your own selfishness. There is a reason he is staying even if he isn't expressing that reason to you. And just because someone would date you doesn't mean that he would commit to you like he is committed to who is is with now remember that, and watch your heart.

Don't do anything. If you end up breaking them up or something he'll blame you and then ur chance is blown and he'll mad at you. Don't try to talk to him about it because he'll think you're a jealous freak. Just let it be, they'll break up eventually then when he's heart broken go and confort him and make him have a really good time like chear him up, he'll soon fall in love with you again and then u can get him. If the plan doesnt work don't worry about it, there are plenty of fish in the sea. But remember that its dangerous to go out with ur best friend, if it doesnt turn out good u might loose a friend.

You shouldn't do anything. If you do care about him so much, then you need to respect his choice to be with her. You may only see or hear the negative things about her, not the good. There is something he clearly sees in her, you need to respect that. By feeling more for him like this, you are disrespecting her and him if you act on your feelings. The best thing you can do is be a real friend, just be there for him even if she is treating him like crap, he still chose to be with her, respect it. You shouldn't be talking about if he'd date you or not, he is with her and that is empty compliments to you and disrespectful to you because it is leading you on. Maybe if he wasn't talking to you like that, she wouldn't treat him like crap.

STAY AWAY. Don't get in the middle of it, plus make him grow some balls and be man enough to make the decision to leave her and know whats right for him. Plus, he obviously is kind of a wuss if he can't take care of things himself. Find a real man!

find out why he doesnt want to break up with her. i mean if he really likes u like u said he does then he would have dumped her a while back. the only thing u can do is wait. i know its hard but the outcome is best that way.

I would leave this one alone. I think getting involved with him and his relationship woes is asking for trouble. It sounds like he is stringing you along so if it doesn't work out with the current girlfriend, he can go to you as his second choice. That just doesn't sit right with me.

I'd tell his girlfriend that I like him (and he likes you) in her face. If she loves him, she'd care more and being less biot..chy. If he really loves her, he wouldn't have told you that he'd date you. She doesn't care, he might want out, perfect! If you really love him and care, go for it. If they can't stand any challenge, they don't mean to be together. IF you can't break them up, it is a reality check. I doubt you'd lose him as a friend afterward. He might still need a backup.
