No hes the fairest God in "fiction" He had to do the things he did to pave the way for an all-loving savior to make things right with humanity, we brought Gods judgement upon ourselves by letting sin into the world and God won back the world for Himself by sending Jesus..

but considering you dont beleive in God or the Bible this questinon should be in the Literature section not in religion

Well since God isn't a "character", nor is the Bible fiction, and since the God of the OT was the same God of the NT who sent his Son to die for our sins, my answer would be "your question is beyond moot".
