God is right, obviously.
So seek Him.
You don't have freewill in any event for you cannot cease from sin, but neither is everything destined, for that would be to charge God with sin.
Simple reason and observation is sufficient for you to dismiss both options that you have suggested.
Your problem is sin and only God can deal with that.
Seek Him.
Please forget "religions" for God has revealed and does reveal.
It is His revelation that you need, not what man says or thinks.
Seek Him.

since the basis of belief is different ....I can only go by what I believe. I stand on the Word of God and God says to "CHOOSE ye this day, whom ye will serve."....I would say then that we have a choice. God does know our destiny...but we still choose it ourselves.

The Hindu religion is older than Christianity and is a seeking of truth which sadly it has failed to do. The attempt is an honest one and I believe God will forgive honest error.
God gave free will to seek him or not

If you are a Cristian then you must believe that God has granted to you free will.
You have the ultimate control in your life and you chose which path to follow!

Hinduism also has a multitude of gods. Christianity, in this respect, is probably a bit closer to the truth.

Right is what you can trust in your heart. YOUR heart. What is truth for one person isn't for another, so you must decide for yourself as to what you come to have faith in. What answers your questions? What has concepts you can accept and trust? Who goes by teachings you think are important and followable? Only you can decide those things for you.
I personally believe that Jehovah God made us agents of free will, and how we use that God-given gift is up to us in life... but that's what I can believe. What I can trust to be true... you might contact your local Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, and ask them your questions. They will be happy to help you find the answers for yourself. Peace..

No religion is entirely right, but they are naturally going to think they are right because, in almost everything, we humans believe ourselves to be infallible...
Every religion looks at God in a different mask. If you don't believe this, you can't deny that they look in the same direction.

There's no such thing as free will. So it most likely has to be the other.
