Very normal. Some dogs just do this. Many will grow out of it, some are life-long poop enthusiasts.

Most often a dog will poop or pee in their crate if A. they are left too long and can't hold bladder or BM B. Most dogs won't poop/pee where they sleep unless there's too much room in which case you need to block a portion of the crate off so she's not peeing/pooping in her crate.... C. You need to have a "go outside routine" That is keep crating times short 2-4 hours max and take her outside 1/2 hour after she eats...And immeadiately in the AM/PM Her system just can't handle being unattended that long.. As for eating stools/pee.. Sometimes puppies do that - So, it's important to NOT let the puppy poop/pee in crate and to pick up poop/pee before puppy gets into it... good luck and don't let your puppy lick your face !!!

Its totally cool. Don't worry it can't hurt her. Your puppy is still in the stage where she is doesn't know any better.
Your pup can still smell her food in her stool. So she automatically thinks she should eat it. Same goes for her pee.
And in order to get this right you are going to have to immediatly clean up her poop.
If she is using the bathroom in the yard, buy a pooper scooper and pick it up and put it in a bag and trash it.
I know it seems disgusting to us because we are taught not to do that but your going to have to teach her that as well. When ever she starts getting interested in her stool and pee.
Tell her to back up and say "No." My rottweiler puppy who is six months use to do that also. She still likes to go check out the spot after I've cleaned up and wiped the spot with bleach.
Hope this works.

It's completely normal, eating poop is called coprophagia. You can get a product from you vet called Forbid. Add it to the food, and it makes the stool unfavorable to eat. It's probably because she is in the room with it and trying to clean it up.

Hello, I think it's called coprophagia and sometimes it just happens. Could it be possible though, that your pup's diet simply "disagrees" with her and get through undigested? I'd suggest removing the feces asap, and not give your pup a chance.
2. Is it possible, that his crate area is simply "too spacious"?
3. Does she lick the "puddle" or her vulva?
Personally, I'd see your vet on this
Good luck!!!!
Pledge or die : your idiocy is star reaching!!!

Her system is most likely lacking something, try calling a vet and asking what she may need in her diet. A vet should know and be able to suggest things to give her that can provide her with what she needs.
