No, we can't We can only profess what the Bible presents, or what God reveals to us directly, and He is not known to say, "On July, 27, 2007, at 11:36 am Central Daylight Time, it will come to pass that my servant will be on Yahoo Answers and notice and answer a question of cosmic importance."
The details of some prophecies are obscure, but only until they have come to pass, then you look back and realize that what just happened was what was prophesied. There are prophecies which are meant to give us particulars of events to come, but more often prophecies are sent to prepare us for the events. For example, the National Weather Service issues severe weather watches for times when severe weather threatens so that we may prepare ourselves in the even that severe weather actually comes. God does the same, but He reveals what is going to happen so that we can prepare for it, and the particular details are not the point of the prophecy. Likewise, however, the NWS issues a warning when the weather condition exists and is on its way. The details in the warning are more important than in the watch. The same applies to prophecy. I think the details surrounding the Last Days are so important to be known because they're going to be very subtle and difficult to see. That's why God goes into such detail about them, and why He's so concerned with making sure we have the information available to us when the time comes. But He has told us particularly that no man will know the day and time that these events will unfold before they happen.

There's something I don't believe in, but it's really interesting that someone like you might want to look at. I have a friend who's really well versed on apocalyptic theories. Personally, I think he's wrong since Jesus didn't even know when He was coming, but the Bible code is interesting.
"The Bible code is a tool used by HIGHLY respected physicists and Hebrew bible experts, or 'bible nuts' as you call them. What the bible code is is a computer programed with the full sections of all the testaments of the Bibles. It searches for Key words like 'JFK', 'Killed by assassination', 'RFK'. Now the Hebrew Bible is laid out like a crossword puzzle, like this:
Jadlfjasljflasjla
Fjfdaffaffaaad
Kaasdffeosxb
If you look on the far left side you will see the capitol letters spelling "JFK". On a larger grid, certain other key words such as: Assassination could be found. " -my friend pwning my other friend
So, I suppose the Bible code would be like this:
hjkdlleoijkjdfjkpf
dfdBUSHdfkjfdd
fhdsjhfffdlsjIfjId;s
fjkldjsijfiodifffRfd
fjlkdsjlfjisdfjfllAff
dklfjjirpgopogQfj
WARjkjkljljljlkko
Obviously, that's not exactly what it says. I made that cross word up. But you find stuff like "BUSH" "IRAQ" "WAR" in my crossword. That's what the prophecies are like.
Other than that, I can tell you that I do believe in Revelations.

There are many end time events that will take place. When we don't exactly know.
Like the 2nd coming of Christ. After certain things pass, He will come and every eye will see and every knee bow to Him. Of course, some legs will be broken to be bended! Those who are full of hatred.
His 1st coming was prophesied at a precise time and that's when He came. The Jews were expecting there messiah but were unwilling to believe. Sad, even though Jesus told the leaders "You will beat him, scourge him and kill him" referring to Himself they just got angry and started plotting how to kill him. INSTEAD of responding the right way they went deeper into their hatred.
That is how the people in here seem to respond, which is sad.

There are many prophecies in the bible about end times which are happening right now, the sea swallowing the people, the earth opening up. The times things will happen cannot be determined though. It says in the bible
'The Son of Man will come when you least expect him' (Luke 12.40)
People can miraculously know what will happen in the future through God telling them. But only God truly knows when it will happen

7When the thousand years are over, (the tribulation) Satan will be released from his prison (hell) 8and will go out to deceive the nations in the four corners of the earth to gather them for battle ( that would be you and other non-christians). In number they are like the sand on the seashore.(Satan decieves many) 9They marched across the breadth of the earth and surrounded the camp of God's people, the city he loves. (most likely jerusalem) But fire came down from heaven and devoured them.(bye-bye) 10And the devil, who deceived them, was thrown into the lake of burning sulfur, where the beast and the false prophet had been thrown. (thats explained at the bottom) They will be tormented day and night for EVER AND EVER.
( the beast- revelation 17: then they took me to a desert. There I saw a woman sitting on a scarlet beast that was covered with blasphemous names and had seven heads and ten horns. The woman was dressed in purple and scarlet and was glitering with gold, prescious stones and pearls. She held a golden cup with the filth of her adulteries. this title was written on her forehead:
MYSTERY
BABYLON THE GREAT
THE MOTHER OF PROSTITUTES
AND OF THE ABDOMINATIONS OF THE EARTH.
...
i will explain the mystery to you
(this takes a long time so, long story short,)
they will go to thier destruction.
the false prophet: he's a FALSE... PROPHET! literally)

Our minds artwork in this sort of vogue that we've a perplexing time conceiving of a few thing no longer having a beginning up. we are knowledgeable to think of in terms of reason and result. This creates this and this makes this etc. even nevertheless, quantum physics paint a different photograph, the place reason and result at the instant are not so clean. think of if time did no longer exist. Then would desire to you of course mark a beginning up for God? If God created area and the universe, then he additionally created the accompanying "Time" which permits the recommendations-set of reason and result. hence, there's no longer nessessarily any time whilst God do no longer exist. He existed continuously.

i don't know the time...but before the end of the world comes the Temple in Jerusalem is suppose to be rebuilt...the anti-Christ is suppose to stand in that temple and proclaim to the world that he is god...
to give a time is hard because time has no bearing for God...time happens for God when it is the right circumstances for the prophecy to happen...and all those circumstance are not know by humans...like many people who have hard times in their life and they believe God has abandon them...when He has not...He is waiting for the right circumstances to happen before He can intervene...but we sometimes stop God from intervening because we do not follow His will...

...any prophetic reference to a "future" event is currently moot as "we" are not in the future... so, to attempt to explain to you that "events" that are currently prophesied are anything less then true are, for your way of thinking, not true...however, if you have studied Scripture, then you already know that events that were prophesied and have manifested have proven Gods Word to be True...(in every instance) I can share with you...40...Prophecies of the Messiah, fulfilled with Chapter and vs. if you'd like...all fulfilled, completely..........
